"Der Aufenthalt war wunderbar! Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und alles war ganz toll vorbereitet. Das Schiff liegt etwas 15 Minuten mit der Bahn vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Man kann auch einen ausgedehnten Spaziergang bis zur Innenstadt machen - kein Problem! Die Gastgeberin hat uns noch richtig gute Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt in Amsterdam gegeben. "We enjoyed the location tremendously; and, staying on the boat added a charming ambiance to our Amsterdam experience. On the other hand, it is very tattered, dated, rickety and an electrical nightmare. Extension cords and hidden switches everywhere and very dimly lit. Floors covered with throw rugs that all overlap; the walls and ceilings covered with fabric that has been stapled on. And, used toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet. So, if you don't mind dealing with all the oddities, go...
