"We had a wonderful time staying along the beautiful Kennebec River. Chris was very punctual with his thoughtful responses to my questions before and during our stay. If you're thinking about visiting in the winter, my only recommendation would be to come with good winter tires or AWD/4WD. The drive is fairly steep and although very well maintained by the plowing contractor, it is tricky when covered in 6". Gorgeous area, we will be back!"

"Overall this property is beautiful during the day and has the potential for some amazing trips! Definitely would plan more than a 2 night stay to make it worth while, was shocked at how stocked the kitchen was with cooking utensils. "A group of us go snowmobiling every year and we decided to go Moosehead Lake this year. Home was exactly as pictured. Very comfortable and clean. Kitchen well stocked with everything you would need. Beds were super comfortable. Trail located right behind the house after short ride through woods. Parking was more than enough for trucks and trailers. Would definitely go back. Host was extremely easy to reach with any questions. Host even contacted us when my husband left his wedding band behind. "

"This cabin is a gem!!! Located a short walk from beautiful Moosehead Lake and a short drive to activities in town make it a perfect spot. You feel like you’re deep in the woods and enjoy all the privacy that offers. Hosts were wonderful and messaged us just to check in. Would absolutely stay again!!"

"It was a quiet, clean and cosy apartment. It was convenient to the shops and restaurants of the town. We enjoyed hiking at Lily Bay State Park and on Mt Kineo. We had a wonderful day on the water with a tour of Moosehead on the Kate. Our one suggestion would be a small step stool for shorter people. "

"Beautiful spot within view of the fork in the river with the gentle sound of moving water. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxed stay including an outdoor grill and fire pit. If you don’t feel like cooking, The Inn if the River is a quick walk just across the street and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will stay here again when we return to the area. "
