"Beautiful view and nice area but highly outdated hotel. The rooms are extremely outdated with front doors that has space under and on top for insects to fly through and the bathroom was not clean with dead insects on the floor etc. However, the staff is really nice and the pool is very nice. The restaurant is extremely expensive - almost Swiss prices! We paid 170USD for a lunch and a dinner of simple dishes and one drink each for 2 people. "

"Very nice place. Best value for money of the seven hotels we have stayed at so far touring CR. Only window towards inner courtyard with pool but we have also seen that at other places here in CR. The hotel is a little enclave of modernity in a slightly run-down town. Actually lille the town also. Clearly a town for living and not for tourists. Fishing harbour great for watching pelicans. "

"The stuff at the fromt desk they were very friendly and ready to help. Unfortunately the place luck off cleanliness and good service in the ding aspect is realy bad. We had very old bedding that keep coming off the matress no conforter on the beds and thet offer us this very old ugly I that was not going to use those comforters One of the day rain a lot we stay in we whent to the restaurant for diner we had worse experience with the food cook gave us row frozen stakes it was disgusting. "Excelente hotel con estilo muy único, muy aislado de todo y excelente para relajarse. "This place was amazing! The owner was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the pool was refreshing. Saw monkeys, a coati and a scarlet macaw on property. The bed was very comfortable and the property was beautiful. I can not say enough great things about this place!"

"El Mirador was an excellent place to stay. The staff were excellent and the cabin was very nice and well stocked (full kitchen). The grounds are beautiful! It is a bit out of the way and isolated from other attractions but there are some restaurants that deliver from the town and it’s not too far of a drive from other destinations, if you have your own transportation (not walkable). All in all, a great stay. Would stay again. "

"Great location, staff was very helpful, the breakfast was very good, beachfront and very close to the lighthouse which is a must go in your stay in Puntarenas.. The only thing that maybe need an improvement is the A/C unit in our room, the staff gave us options but because our stay was only for a night, we didn’t see the need for a change… I recommend this hotel if you’re looking for options in Puntarenas…"

"Casa molto bella ma un po’ lasciata andare , il personale è praticamente inesistente a parte la padrona di casa che vive lì. Nessuno è venuto a pulire la camera che tra l’altro non aveva nemmeno la porta e di notte dato che anche il portico e la porta vengono lasciate aperte mi sono trovata un gatto nel letto. Il posto di per se è molto carino ma abbastanza sporco e non sono stati fatti lavori di manutenzione."
