"It started when I arrived.They did not had any eye contact but handle me a key and said,you can your room your self.The food in the restaurant is awfull and the people working there, think you are disturbing them when you try to order. "I had a fantastic stay at Bunker Hill with my Mrs and two daughters aged 5 and 9. Reading the reviews I was a bit concerned about how secure we would be and the state of the hotel, but it all turned out to be exaggerated and we had a fantastic stay at Bunker Hill. The family spirit from the front desk to the kitchen and Nephew Thomas assisting was truly amazing. The hotel is very well placed for tourists (in particular Danes wanting to see some historical sites). So can only recommend this...

"Et dejligt og hyggeligt mindre hotel, fine områder, pæne og rene værelser og god service. Ulemper er at morgenmad bliver serveret i en picknic kurv udenfor værelset og består af en bagel, en kop kaffe, lidt smørost, en yoghurt og lidt frugt …. Hver eneste dag! Derudover er hotellet halv oppe af en stejl bakke/bjerg og meget besværligt at gå dertil. Når du så kommer på hotellet er der trapper overalt da hotellet er opdelt i flere niveauer og er overhovedet ikke egnet til gangbesværet mennesker....

"Poor restaurant with a not-up-to-date menu card with too much unhealthy food. Many of the waiters were simply not up to their jobs and the service level was not impressive in the restaurant - and at the morning buffets in particular. The mattresses were WAY too soft and given us all five family members a bad lower back and therefore not getting a good night's sleep. Don't go there - go to St. John Inn hotel on St. John instead - a super place with great service."

"Antilles Resort is a lot of rooms privately held and rented which imposes that the quality and maintence of the rooms varies a lot. We had no hot water (and it wasn't changed) nor was the stove and other electric items functioning properbly. The resort is located on the beach and the beach is fantastic and the resort is in walking distance to Red Hook."

"Positive - Definitely a property with one of the best views on the island and is absolutely gorgeous. The room itself looked nice overall however there were some issues that made it a step down for us. The room was not very clean and we located bugs throughout the kitchen and in the cabinets. The shower head was broken so it only provided a full stream of pressure. The showers also even though warm would never get “hot”. Beach towels were supposed to be provided but were not provided until...

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Condo had everything we needed and was close to the beach. We enjoyed looking over the marina as well. The only downfall was the last two days the water in the kitchen and bathroom was orange. No fault of the owner obviously the building was having a water issue. Great condo. Would definitely return."

"This b&b exceeded expectations. The owners could not have been more kind or accommodating. The daily breakfast was delicious, the rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the location was great and their dog gave us so much love & tail wags. Their front office had snorkels, sunscreen, bug spray, beach towels, they have thought of everything. We will 100% stay here or at their new Hotel 1829 on a future trip! Thank you, Mark & Jess!!!"
