"I had a fantastic stay at Bunker Hill with my Mrs and two daughters aged 5 and 9. Reading the reviews I was a bit concerned about how secure we would be and the state of the hotel, but it all turned out to be exaggerated and we had a fantastic stay at Bunker Hill. The family spirit from the front desk to the kitchen and Nephew Thomas assisting was truly amazing. The hotel is very well placed for tourists (in particular Danes wanting to see some historical sites). So can only recommend this...

Ulemper er at morgenmad bliver serveret i en picknic kurv udenfor værelset og består af en bagel, en kop kaffe, lidt smørost, en yoghurt og lidt frugt …. Hver eneste dag! Derudover er hotellet halv oppe af en stejl bakke/bjerg og meget besværligt at gå dertil. Når du så kommer på hotellet er der trapper overalt da hotellet er opdelt i flere niveauer og er overhovedet ikke egnet til gangbesværet mennesker....

"Staying at the Flamboyan was honestly one of the highlights of our trip to St. John/St. Thomas. The property is very nicely set up with amazing rooms, clean pools, a nice restaurant/bar, and stellar views of Magens Bay. Both pools are very clean with the top pool being well located near the rooms and bar/restaurant area. We did notice the hot tub near the lower pool was not working and was only about 85 degrees. Not a major issue at all but would be an incredible feature if working...

"Antilles Resort is a lot of rooms privately held and rented which imposes that the quality and maintence of the rooms varies a lot. We had no hot water (and it wasn't changed) nor was the stove and other electric items functioning properbly. The resort is located on the beach and the beach is fantastic and the resort is in walking distance to Red Hook."

"Poor restaurant with a not-up-to-date menu card with too much unhealthy food. Many of the waiters were simply not up to their jobs and the service level was not impressive in the restaurant - and at the morning buffets in particular. The mattresses were WAY too soft and given us all five family members a bad lower back and therefore not getting a good night's sleep. Don't go there - go to St. John Inn hotel on St. John instead - a super place with great service."

"The property was well laid out. I enjoyed the walk-out beach access that my room offered. My only negatives would be the food at the restaurant and the lack of parking. I ordered a NY strip and shrimp plate. The demi glaze sauce was TOO salty and made the steak inedible and the shrimp were charbroiled to a blackened state for a dish that was not blackened. To improve customer service, I would recommend daily housekeeping service rather than the COVID schedule that many facilities have adopted....

"We got very lucky with this B&B. Marc and Jess were very welcoming. Their property has a lot of history dating back to 1804. It still has that charm and character, but at the same time it is fully renovated and provides all modern amenities. In addition, it has an amazing view of the bay and excellent service to top it all of: lovely breakfast, pool, use of beach chairs, beach towels and snorkeling gear. We would be very happy to stay here again if we return to St Thomas. "
