"The hotel is quite run down, and furniture is old and uncomfortable. We also had ants in the room, but they were removed when pointed out to staff. The room was very spacious and had a nice outdoor area. Breakfast was decent if you are good with basics plus a little extra. The area has a beautiful view and it’s possible to walk to the city, but impossible to walk back up all the stairs in the heat which means you depend on taxis that were 30/40 EUR each time. Overall, not a 4 star hotel in any way, and pictures don’t capture current stage. We were a few friends and had many trips booked limiting the stay inside the hotel and for that purpose it was somewhat okay. Staff in reception and cleaning were nice and helpful. "

"Jeg elskede simpelthen dette sted og ejeren! Hvis du er til standard 3-stjernede hoteller, er det ikke dette sted, du søger. Men hvis du er til steder og folk med sjæl og personlighed, er dette ganske simpelt fantastisk. Ejeren skræmte mig lidt fra starten, da hun ganske bestemt fortalte mig, at jeg skulle sætte mig ned og vente på check ind. Men hun viste sig at være virkelig sød og hjælpsomheden selv - på sin egen lidt skæve facon. Hotellet er ikke topmoderne, men fint og rent og virkelig billigt - og byen er mere autentisk end mange andre byer langs Amalfikysten. Der var masser af turister - men mest italienere."

"Fantastic view. A bit dated rooms, especially batrooms, and beds. Nice breakfast. Restaurant is a big problem for an expensive hotel far away from an alternative. The menu was very unclear and wrongly translated to English. We ordered caprese salad, and got a cold tomato soup. The waiters answer was that we should make it clear that we wanted a salad. They haf grilled fish as a dish. We asked what kind of fish, and the waiter informed that it was seabass. He was wrong, and agian the menu was wrong. Grilled fish was grilled seafood. My wife is alergic tog shellfish, and we fo not like octopus, so a small pcs (50 - 60 grams) was our maicourse and price 28 Euro. The reastaurant is the only very negative thing about this hotel. Shuttleservice beachservice, beach cafe, reception and breakfast is 5 stars. "
