The cabin was relocated here back in 1999 from Virginia where it was originally built. Each log is well over 150 years old. It has a kitchen with 4 eye cook top, convection oven/microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, living room, bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and shower combined. A loft bedroom accessed by a spiral staircase. The loft is equipped with a queen size and a full size bed and rough pine furniture. The laundry room is located left on the back porch area it has both a washer and dryer. There is a front porch with two rocking chairs and a back porch with an outdoor grill. Both porches have winter time views of the mountains. The setting is trees and mountains all around with views up and down the .5 mile driveway. To sit in the cabin recliner and breath in what it must have been like for early settlers is a truly unique feel. A motion light with camera has been added to the entry to provide lighting and safety when entering and exiting and it will record when motion activated. WIFI/Direct TV & HBO premium channels are provided. Pots and pans, silverware plates, bowls, coffee cups, a wine opener, and can opener are also provided. A Keurig coffee maker and k cups are provided . If anything else is needed please txt or call me. I will respond promptly to your questions or requests. Pets are welcome here at the cabin. There is also a 12 seat private theater which is located about a 4 minute walk on up the ridge beside the main home and next to the Koi pond, on the property. Please let us know(so we can show you how to operate ) if you would like to watch your favorite movies, games or just relax and listen to music. The stereo system in the theater is made for excellent sound. The theater is available 24 hours a day during your stay. Also note, the outdoor pizza oven is located at the main house near the theater, not at the Cabin, and guests are welcome to use. The driveway is a wide one lane that leads to the cabin, and there is virtually no traffic except the occasional vehicle. The cabin is also located on a dead end private drive.
