Recently we stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn located in Atlanta Perimeter Mall Center. The experience we had was not what we expected. I’d like to share what happened below.
Room was not cleaned, bed sheets didn’t fit, phone was not working, floor divider broken
Desk staff needs additional training and learn to manage different situations
Customers should be made feel comfortable no matter where they booked their reservation through
We were made feel invaluable by the front desk clerk and manager become we booked through Expedia. We were refused a room change and treated unfairly because we didn’t book directly from Hilton website
Charles the shift manager offered to credit the first night due to poor interaction with desk clerk; however, Steph the hotel manager refused as he felt because we booked through Expedia we didn’t deserve the credit an estates the same to Expedia.
I will be filing a formal complaint with the better business bureau about this hotel. Obviously there are some safety issues and rooms are not up to par with the Hilton brand. Also staff needs and requires new training and equipped to handle different situations but most importantly treat all customers the same no matter where they booked through.
