"We spent 3 nights here and loved every minute. In the middle of a busy road trip, it was the perfect break. Clean, ocean views, hot tub and beach access. It absolutely was well represented by the listing. Hoping we will be able to come back! "

"The house was quite nice overall. A little disappointing that the woodstove didn't work, especially as the weather was cool and wet. The water is quite soft, but tastes good; and the water heater works fine. We spent a chilly first night as the baseboard heaters were set to 10C (50F), and the control buttons are really tiny and hard to notice. A heads up from the owner would have been helpful. It was plenty warm once I found the controls. The setting is beautiful, and the stairs down to the lake...

The owner met us as we arrived and we proceeded to get a brief tour of the property. They have thought of everything! Comfortable, functional yet stylish - the design aesthetics are beautiful and clearly considered throughout. We loved the hot tub and outdoor shower. Beautiful sunsets. "Absolutely amazing choice. Oceanside view with the rolling waves and the fresh smell of the saltwater wafting in was absolutely perfect. The wind blowing by the house along with the cormorants, ducks, and all the other wildlife topped the vacation "

"Every one of us loved it here - grown ups, kids, and dog. We had many great adventures in a short time and wished we could have stayed longer. The kids and the dog loved roaming the beach right outside and swimming in such perfectly clear and calm water was wonderful. Well equipped apartment and helpful friendly hosts. Recommended and we hope to be back some day. "

"If you are considering staying on Cape Breton - stop your search as this is your place! Of the many vacation rentals that we have experienced, this is by far the nicest rental from the property, surrounding, and owners/managers. The owners were on-site to attend to any issue, help start fires for marshmallows, light the wood-fired hot tubs and give directions to hikes, farm shares and fishmongers. "Annual reunion for friends. Property was great to entertain and stage us for other local events. Had an acoustic singer guitarist in and the acoustics were great! Pool is clean but is shared with two other Vrbo rentals on the property. Fire pit nice touch by the lake.privacy between the three suites is a challenge."

"This house was centrally located to everything we wanted to do while in this area of Cape Breton. It was quiet and comfortable and we appreciated being able to do laundry. I would recommend it to other travelers."

"I fell in love with this place. Location, location, location! There's no Italian marble in the bathroom. If you want to cook a huge dinner for guests, you're pretty much out of luck. There's no huge TV or luxury living room, and it's not in a swanky neighborhood. This has something much more valuable than any of those things: seclusion. I stayed here at the end of October.
