"The hosts of this property are completely approachable, and want your stay to be everything you want it to be. Believe me, it is perfect. The house is clean and beautiful. The view of the lights, on Leavenworth's Main Street, is magical. It is amazing to be just a few blocks to the city area. Great for walking with a stroller, or small children too. There is a nice hot tub, and fenced area. We were allowed to bring our pup along. Lots of non- busy streets to walk him. The fireplace was...

"Gorgeous views, excellent accommodations, close to town while also feeling secluded and private. Host was very helpful when needed. Heat had a hard time reaching the lower level and wifi was a bit spotty; kitchen could do with a few more necessities, but the property was wonderful and we had a fabulous time."

It snowed about 6 inches, we drove to Fish Lake, and spent an afternoon in Leavonworth... but chose to spend most of our time at the lodge, playing cards, visiting and cooking ! "We make an annual trip to Leavenworth each winter, typically some time after Christmas or New Year's to enjoy the hangover from the holidays before school starts back up again. We usually stay in Plain, but this time we opted to stay a bit closer to the Bavarian wonderland, and we're so glad we did. We had previously passed by Alps Candy without giving it a second glance, and were delighted to find that behind the shop lay one of the most scenic cabin/lodges we'd ever had the pleasure of staying...

"This cabin checked all the boxes for what we needed - close to levensworth , close to nature and had plenty of room for us!! There were some absolutely wonderful touches like a christmas tree , cozy front porch , hot tub etc .This was overall a great stay at a 5 star place in our books but A few things were missing like coffee , (there was a pot but no grounds ) and the towels could be upgraded as they were shedding lint like crazy on our bodies "
