"I really enjoyed my stay at Santuario! I stayed in a female dorm. The dorm was nice and big, good locker-option, bathroom was good and clean. I liked the small “room” you’d get, not a tiny capsule as you could’ve feared. AC works well, breakfast is a good way to sit down with fellow travellers, and the Getsemaní-neighbourhood is such a good spot to stay with restaurants and bars close by, and an easy walk to the Walled City. "

"The hotel is very organized, has many daily activities, and the atmosphere is lively. We stayed in a private room, and we didn't like that we could hear noise from the neighboring rooms, and even noise late at night from people talking loudly at the reception. However, we liked the breakfast, the availability of towels, and the friendliness of the staff"

"The staff was very kind. The only issue was that q curtan came down and the repair was poor because it felt down again. We stayed in the suit with a private pool that turned out to be a jacuzzi but the jets were not working. The food was good but it’s only vegetarian. The walk to beach is about 15 mins, and the walk to the mains street is about 15 min but at night was very dark so we drove. "

"Front staff was awesome! Room would have been noisier with a window, as the party buses go by until 3am. Earplugs made it fine for sleeping. Great location. "

"Das Hotel Secreto liegt traumhaft eingebettet vom Meer, Lagunen, Palmen und Mangroven auf der ruhigen Seite des Insel. Dort sind kaum Wellen. Es hat uns dort sehr gut gefallen. 😊 Lage Personal Pool Essen/Trinken Preis-/Leistung Ausflüge • Zimmeraustattung (spartanisch) • Wasserdruck • Bausubstanz teilweise mit erneuerungsbedarf • Badestrand teilweise etwas schlammig • Abends lange etwas lauter (Party) - Endabrechnung auf Fehler kontrollieren - keine Reaktion bei WhatsApp bzgl....

"Great stay at Masaya! Clean, good price, good location, nice and filling breakfast, and the room was fine. Would have liked drawers or a small wardrobe. Also, there were no windows in the room (small one in the bathroom). Noise not too bad - could hear our neighbours when using the shower. The live music and DJs were great, though regular music during dinner was too loud. We'd have liked more activities to get to know people, but not sure if we just missed these. Overall a really good stay and...

"I booked and paid on expedia, upon arrival the clerk tried to say i had not paid, then he tried to charge us more saying i had not paid the full price. I had to show him my records before he finally decided i had paid...it felt like a scam, he did apologize but it still felt like a deliberate act. Additionally while in the room, staff members would periodically enter the room and take pictures, i founf this to be disturbing. "

Good beach option close to Cartagena

"Been at this hotel a number of times. Conveniently located by the beach and relatively close to historic center (15 min by cab). It seems to me, that service levels are decreasing a bit. Receptionists are somewhat less friendly than they used to be. Rooms are nice (especially the newer ones in “Torre del Mar”). If you dine at the hotel, go for the restaurants “Bijao” and “Erre” (more formal) - you pay more but much better value for money. The beach is nice (do not expect white sand, though) - especially if you want to walk. But really irritating that staff do not ask other guests to lower their music. There are a lot of vendors at the beach, but most are not too Insistent. Hotel is only 10 minutes from airport. "
