Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

I love the house and location
So overall it was a great location and the house is beautiful. Only thing was it was hot outside but we couldn’t even enjoy your great pool and the backyard wasn’t clean so of course when we tried to clean the pool out the leaves would just blow back in it . Just so you know for your other bookings . But thank you you have a beautiful home . God bless you .

Ants and Cockroaches
Initial appears looked good eventhough the house appeared to be a work in progress. We stayed here for one night out of a scheduled three. In the evening my son came down from the room he was staying in and said there were ants in his room. I found some hand wipes and used them to wipe the ants up which didnt work. 30 minutes later my wife and i saw a cockroach crawl from under the couch and saw a few more during the night in the kichen. We would have left that same night if i could have found a place to stay. We left in the morning. I expect more and deserve more as a paying custimore. We were looking forward to our stay in Texas but ended up paying double for lodging because we had to find another place to stay. I bought the trip insurance but they don't cover your experience just the things leading up to your trip. First time using Vrbo and will be the last, I'll use the other guy.

Disappointing
The place and neighborhood was nice but there were so many things that made this time very frustrating. We rented this place as a vacation spot while my daughters attended a volleyball. They wanted to be able to relax in the pool after camps, however that was not available to us to first day. It was very dirty (some leaves would have been an understanding) however, the water was very murky and dirty looking the first day so I messaged the owner with no response. I finally reached out to the Vacasa people since I was not hearing back from the owner herself. The next day, the pool looked worse which didn’t make sense since the pool guy was at our rental when we returned back (mind you, this was not communicated with us). In fact, there were random people there showing up to do things with no communication at all. Usually, owners will communicate when they will have people coming over so guests are aware. We later found out that the pool guy put chemicals in the pool for cleaning without letting us know either (luckily, our children decided the pool looked too dirty to swim in) because we also found out the chemicals put in the pool had to sit for 3-4 hours before anyone could swim in it. On top of everything else, there were random guys that showed up to work on the fence which was several hours of pounding, next several guys showed up to mow the lawns for several hours. Dryer didn’t work either. Just a lack of communication overall as well as lack of privacy.
