One of those rentals where the owner has neglected it for some time
1) Our first impression was not good as when we tried to get into the front door we were immediately swarmed by gnats and flies. This is a lake house so some insects is expected but this was on another level. We literally had to rush through the front door to avoid them. There were a ton of spiders in the house as well. We went and bought bug spray and traps which helped immediately. The owner would do well to invest in pest control. 2) The AC was horrible! It was very hot the first day and no matter what we tried the AC would not go below 72. When it’s 95 + outside with a house that clearly has not been properly sealed in some time, it was very uncomfortable for everyone in the house. The owner blew us off and got frustrated with me when I pushed back about it being so hot in the house and tried to convince me to find another place. During 4th of July week. With my entire family with me. Really bad customer service! It cooled down somewhat but they had it programmed to 72 in the mornings so we were all uncomfortable every morning and early afternoon. It’s TX what are they thinking? 3) The master bath does not have a door. I repeat it does not have a door so no privacy. Not sure what the thinking was there but who doesn’t want privacy using the bathroom, especially in the morning? Also, the master toilet was not properly seated so it would wobble when you sat on it. 4) the bbq grill ignition did not ignite and was absolutely filthy 5) nails sticking out on the stairs

Amazing Lake House
Our Family had a really great stay at Steve’s lake house. From oldest to youngest we all really enjoyed this lake house. The house was very clean and very well stocked. The house has comfortable rooms and lots to do. We would definitely come back.

Wonderful Stay!!
The house is gorgeous and spacious!! It's right on the lake which is a beautiful bonus. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Can't wait to stay again!!

Property was very dirty. Lots of cobwebs and spiderwebs. Floors were sticky. We stay one night and went to a hotel for the remainder. No parking for a truck with a boat. Lake is not usable for surf boats. Shore is filled with trash and old tires. Not suitable for babies. Not the right place for us.

Beautiful
We had a great stay at this property. The house was very clean, cool and spacious. Very comfortable for the whole family. It has a beautiful deck in the back and a hot tub which we also enjoyed. There is access to the lake from the house and the whole family enjoyed swimming.

Overall a good place to get away
Parking was a little small. We have large family vehicles and couldn’t get them all in the driveway. We also took our boats to explore the lake and there was barely enough room on the street to park them. There were lots of mosquitos around the house, likely because the water is close, but otherwise it was clean and well kept.

Great Start to Thanksgiving Week
My in-law side of the family decided we should all spend a couple of days together for Thanksgiving this year and this was the absolute perfect spot!!! The house was perfect for the 11 of us. We played so many games at the dining room table and in the living room, so there was plenty of room for us to all gather together, as well as, plenty of room for us to all have our own space. There was also plenty of seating outside on the deck and the hot tub was a great end to the days. Steve was AMAZING!!! He communicated with me before the stay and throughout the stay. He really works to make sure that your stay is everything that you want it to be. I would highly recommend his home to others. When we venture up to the Dallas area again, I know that we will want to stay in either this home or one of Steve's other homes -- he was just that great to work with.

We stayed at this property because of a few reasons but the location (right off Lake Ray Hubbard) was the difference. It did not disappoint. We had a great stay. Overall the cleanliness of the property was great. It's stocked with your basic cooking needs as far as utensils and pots and pans go. The hot tub was great at night and the smart TV and Alexa and game room kept the kiddos busy during downtime for the adults in the house. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. The owner checked in via email once or twice during the stay to see if we needed anything (supplies etc..). If your looking for a spot to stay in the Dallas area...look no further.

Awesome lake home and wonderful owner.
Sure enjoyed our stay with museum visits, Six Flags, and shopping, restaurants and movies. The only negative was close by marina is closed down and we couldn’t bring a jet ski rental to our lakefront but we could have gone jet skiing near Rockwall but too pricey at $180/hr. Other than that property is very roomy and comfy. We really enjoyed our stay.

We will be back!
Steven was so easy to work with. He answered all my questions prior to renting and prior to staying promptly. He was very helpful. We had family travel from 3 states for our sons graduation and wanted a central hub for the family to stay together. The house was perfect! Clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Steven thought of everything! My family kept thanking me for renting the home because they were so comfortable. The view of the lake was beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the patio and everyone had a chance to enjoy the hot tub The house is just 20 minutes away from our home and my husband and I will be back for a stay-vacation. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
