"So if you look at the standard globally its a 3-4 star hotel. For Hanoi its a great hotel in a great area. And absolutely the best thing is the service of the staff in the reception. "We came for a single night in one of the king rooms. The staff was so very kind and helped us with everything we needed. We told them that we were taking the train to Sa Pa that same night, they had packed up a sandwich, some fruits and coffee for us to take for our trip. Everyone working at Solaria were so extremely kind and the room and restaurant were amazing as well!"

"I stayed for three nights at Splendid Star Grand Hotel and can recommend this hotel for sure. The location is perfect, right in the old quarter, but in a nice and quiet side street, so no noise in the room. The room was very spacious and comfortable, but I must say that it was quite old and worn, and surely didn't look as good as the pictures (they rarely do :-). The staff was really nice, friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was good. "
