In the middle of the beautiful Emmental, the ideal hiking area of the Napf foothills, between Sumiswald and Huttwil, lies the picturesque town of Dürrenroth. Characterized by its stately large farms and the beautiful buildings and witnesses of the earlier building culture, Dürrenroth is considered a historical place. Our house is a listed building and dates from the end of the 18th century and was Dürrenroth's first schoolhouse. Together with the church and the well-known historic Landgasthof Bären, it forms the beautiful village center.
The apartment was completed in May 2011. Before that, Dürrenroth's post office was rented. The house is a listed building in the region. The 4.5 room apartment is completely new built and furnished. The walls and doors are very well sound-insulated. Next to the holiday apartment is the beautiful Landgasthof Bären Dürrenroth - including its famous gourmet parlor. The village shops, a beautiful and safe children's playground and the bus stop are also in the immediate vicinity
