Apple Cottage - Excellent WIFI, All Paved Access

PLEASE NOTE: Last minute reservations (14 days prior to check in) will be required to check in at the Mountain Oasis office prior to 5pm, Mon-Fri unless previous arrangements are made in advance. Reservations made after 5pm for same day check in are NOT allowed.

Experience Ellijay in luxurious style at Apple Cottage! Walking distance with sidewalks to everything including, unique shops, eateries, bars, Harrison Park walking trail, and just a short drive to rivers, orchards, wineries and hiking trails. This lovely 1940's cottage has been totally renovated, furnished and updated with modern conveniences including WiFi, Smart TV, electric fireplace, large rocking chair front porch and sits right next door to Mr P's, one of our legendary local restaurants for " to go food" and known for some of the best home cooked food in town! The adorable "court yard" provides privacy and the completely fenced in yard allows your furry baby to enjoy the outdoors safely.

As soon as you enter Apple Cottage you will realize this was a great choice. This place is not only beautiful but it was designed with luxury and comfort in mind.

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:

Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans.

Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-wash cloth per person listed on guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dust pan, mop, cable or satellite TV, internet, and a charcoal grill.

In addition we provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (2 rolls per bathroom), Paper Towels, (1 roll), Garbage Bags (2-3 bags) , Dishwasher Detergent (1-2 loads) Laundry Detergent (1 load), and Dish Washing Soap (mini bottle).

Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items.

The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

Quick weekend getaway
Apple cottage is an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Mr. P’s take out is next door but we had no problem with noise from the drive thru! We will be staying at the Apple Cottage again! Beds were comfortable also.

Very cute house. Everything was super clean. The only issue we had we figured out. We had a breaker shut off electric to a very important appliance,(the coffee maker lol) We located the breaker box and all was fine. Loved the area, will definitely stay again.

Delightful Cottage
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The owners were kind enough to work with us in last minute severe weather conditions in our home state that delayed our travel and we are very appreciative of that consideration.The cottage is charming and spacious. Plenty of room! This is likely one of the cleanest vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable with plenty of room in the bedrooms to move around in. The large l-shaped sofa in the living room is a definite plus. Room for us to stretch out and get comfy. Kitchen is well stocked and super clean. We come to Ellijay quite a bit and have stayed in several downtown Ellijay rentals and this is by far our favorite. We love being right next to Mr. P’s restaurant. Made on-the-go breakfast easy for us. Easy, quick walk to downtown as well.We would definitely stay here again!

Great Property in Downtown Ellijay - Walk to restaurants
Great property with enjoyable, large covered front porch. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen well-stocked. Close to everything that Ellijay has to offer - walk into the downtown area. Our only less than favorable comment is that the TV in the living room has the image of the property management's advertisement/wallpaper burned on the screen and it makes it difficult to watch television. Hope to stay again (with a new TV.)

Had there been an arial view we would not have stayed here. Cute, clean, well appointed house but an arial view would have shown that a busy early morning to mid afternoon restaurant drive-thru is right next to the house (no side yard). And an arial view would also have shown that the sidewalk into Ellijay is several blocks on a very busy road. If you can ignore the highway sounds, the busy restaurant drive-thru right next to the house and the busy road / sidewalks to town, it maybe a great option for you.

Family trip gone right!
Great cottage in downtown Ellijay. Clean and cute. Two full bedrooms and a flex space with a day bed. One full bath and one half bath. Absolutely huge kitchen! Lovely dining space and suuuuper comfy living room. A lovely space overall to relax and unwind in after a busy day out in north Georgia exploring the abundance of activities in the area (blue ridge train ride, hiking trails, Apple orchards, fall festivals in downtown Ellijay, the fainting goat winery… I mean the list actually goes on but you get the idea!). As bustling and packed as downtown Ellijay can be this was the perfect place to settle in at night for a quick walk to the town center - or start off with a quick stroll to the coffee shop in the morning. Just a perfect home base for our trip. The porch was cute too to sit and relax and the yard was well kept- but I wouldn’t say it’s a play space - this is very much a place to relax at home. Not a bad thing by any means but if you’ve got active kiddos keep them exhausted on the day trips and trails! We will definitely be back to Apple Cottage!! Gosh I can’t say enough positive things about this stay.

The home was convenient to downtown shops and restaurants, very clean, well accommodated, and invitingly warm. The mattresses were comfortable but the box springs were quite noisy and need to be replaced. A great choice for staying in Elijay — recommend.

Lovely Inside, not so the neighborhood
The inside of this house is impeccable: comfortable beds and couches, smart tv, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. You couldn't ask for a better looking and well stocked home. The outside of this home is lovely with a wonderful covered deck with rocking chairs. And the town center is quite charming and only 3 blocks away. But the neighborhood this house sits in is not so desirable. There are rundown houses to the rear and 1 side. It's on a busy road with commercial development across the street and to the other side there is "Mr P's" drive-in restaurant. The cars start lining up at 5:30 a.m. and you can definitely hear them rev their engines. We did have a good time but wish the surroundings were better.

#Perfection - Comfortable, Beautiful and Excellent Location
This cottage is beautifully decorated, but not at the sacrifice of comfort. Very clean. Location was the best!!!! Just a easy 2-3 min walk from town square with great shops and restaurants. Shops close early so couch was get comfortable place to hang out in the evening…oh and the front porch with rocking chairs also an excellent option for enjoying a meal or just talking. Beds were comfortable as well…kitchen is well stocked with cups/wine glasses, plates, utensils, cooking stuff. And Mr. P’s next door is such a wonderful added bonus (coffee, breakfast, lunch). The property manager called the day after we checked in just to make sure we were good and siding need anything. Thank you for offering such a perfect place for us to spend a quiet girls weekend and catch up with friends.

60 th Birthday Celebration
Stayed at this property for 5 nights and fell in love with the cottage. Everything was perfect, so close to everything. Already planning a return trip with my husband. Highly recommend this property and Mountain Oasis Rentals.
