Welcome to Gunsmoke a not so "tiny" cabin in the woods with a private hot tub. 600sf of cozy cabin & 1.7 acres with 2 ponds in the community to roam. Plenty of parking for your boat or off road toys. Within 15 minutes to boat launch and river. Downtown Ellijay is also 15 minutes for great places to eat, shop and stroll..
Great for people who love the outdoors, hiking, biking, boating or have off road vehicles.
If you prefer, just relax on the porch or hot tub listening to the sound of birds chirping and the north Georgia mountains😉
Large master bedroom with private bathroom. There is plenty of room to stretch out or sit and read a book in one of the zero gravity chairs.
There is a cozy bunk room for kids and tons of outdoor room to play! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need from coffee, creamer, sugar, spices and all your pots, pans that you need to cook any meal! The bathroom even has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, blow dryer and curling iron and plenty of towels!

Great Cabin for R & R
This cabin has so much personality. The amenities were amazing. It’s gated so it was extremely private. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We used the fire pit. The only star taken off was because we were excited to use the hot tub - it was one of the reasons we rented that cabin. The temperature never reached “hot”. We paid full price for everything, including early check in, which is fine, but the hot tub was a disappointment. Other than that - this place was terrific.

Gunsmoke cabin is an excellent getaway with all the amenities including rocking chairs on the front porch, a gas grill and hot tub on the rear deck and washer and dryer, and of course a tv with a large selection of channels.The kitchen is well stocked with salt and pepper and spices, a coffee maker and filters, paper towels and a gas stove, plenty of dishes, silverware and pots and pans. A nice quaint downtown area about 10 minutes away with plenty of restaurant choices and several antique shops. A very nice place, nothing bad to say about it.

Nice cabin on mountain road. Fun decor, nice front porch and back deck with private hot tub. Dog friendly. Numerous hiking trails in the area. Downtown has restaurants and shops. Some vehicles may have trouble with road up to cabin. Make sure you have access code to gate and front door. Towels plentiful and comfortable bed and pillows. We ate on deck with tv tables. Also a grill that we made use of. Mostly quiet and peaceful, dogs barking down the mountain. Not too bad. We had a nice stay, except for losing powe for about 24 hours after a severe storm. But luckily there’s a gas stove and grill. We had an ice chest, good thing because we had just bought groceries for a week. Maybe consider bringing a flashlight and candles. Just in case beautiful mountains around.

Cozy Couples Retreat
Our week here was so relaxing. . We enjoyed sitting on the deck, watching sunrises and listening to the birds. This was a great location for exploring all the new wineries that have grown up around Ellijay. Hope to return.

Ellijay Hideaway
I loved this cabin! I loved everything about it. The location was excellent. Close to town yet far from crowds. Also, very close to many parks both in town and in the mountains. The grounds of this property were fantastic for my dog. He loved this stay just as much as I did. The decor was perfect for a guy like me taking a break from the city. I loved all the tin signs and the deck and the surprise in the outhouse! Jill was a superb host and very receptive. Very easy to talk to. She was a delight. You can tell she really wants to go the extra yard to make her guests feel comfortable. After a week I decided I needed an extra night and was able to have her do that for me on very short notice. That was fantastic and very much appreciated. I had a very relaxing time while I was there. It’s going to be my first choice when I need to get away by myself again. This cabin and this host are highly recommended. Thank you, Jill!

Beautiful cabin
We’ve vacationed in dozens of cabins, but this one is our favorite! Everything was very clean, the floor plan is very spacious, yet cozy, and stocked with all the supplies needed to feel at home. After hiking all day, we were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the bed was, and now buying the same mattress for our own home! This adorable cabin is located perfectly in a private area and easy to find. If you’re looking for a comfortable getaway and a cozy cabin, Gunsmoke is the cabin for you.

Need to get away
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gunsmoke cabin. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Just what we were hoping for. Comfortable bed. That’s a plus as you get older. We drove our SUV and had no trouble at all getting to the cabin. Whenever we are planning a trip to the Ellijay area we will definitely check this property’s availability first.

The cabin was cozy and secluded. The cabin was also well furnished. The cabin is centrally located to the areas that we wanted to visit (20-30 minutes travel time). Visitors should note that GPS will not give accurate directions to the cabin. Enjoyed our stay.

Adorable Cabin!
The cabin was adorable and beautifully decorated! The bed was king size and very comfortable which is very important to us, especially when staying more than a couple nights! We have also found this difficult to find so we were pleasantly surprised!! The cabin was well equipped with lots of extras that you rarely find elsewhere, like extra paper towels, tissues, lots of condiments, etc.! The host was great, always answering any questions very quickly! The only things that we had an issue with was the heater in the bedroom was extremely loud every time it kicked on, so we didn’t use it after the first night and it was very comfortable! Also, the road leading to the cabin was a rough ride.

Great little cabin!
This is the cutest house! They have decorated the inside and the outside, and it looks amazing! It is so peaceful and quiet there. We had a very relaxing time. The only negative I could say,which the owners don’t really have any control over, is the drive up to the house is really rough. We would definitely stay there again.

Long weekend getaway
The house and surrounding area was all we expected. The host was very informative and accommodating. The house was just the size needed for the both of us.Very relaxing and quiet.We both work a lot so our free time is very special.The hot tub was fantastic especially at night when the temps went down some. Hope to get back to the area again and highly recommend this listing if seeking a relaxing visit or exploring.

Great Escape!
Loved this cute cabin. The property was beautiful. It was awesome having a covered porch up front and a deck in the back depending on the weather. Awesome hummingbirds. The place is layed out really well. Great little kitchen stocked with everything we needed for our week stay. We like staying in and preparing meals so this was great. The king bed was super comfortable with cute bunk nook if you had add'l guests. Clean sheets, towels, the place was great. Great location, fairly secluded within an hour of Amicalola falls and Blue Ridge. Lots to do. Ellijay was a cute little town with hip vibe and great little restaurants. Roo Winery was gorgeous and about 20 minutes away. My favorite was Tumbling Waters trail about 10 minutes away with swimming at Carter's lake. Yes, it's a short dirt/gravel road but it's not far and we were good with a 2 wheel drive sedan. Many thanks! Great communication and availability of hosts.

Wow is truly an understatement. The pictures do not do this cabin justice! It is absolutely gorgeous! The owners have put so much thought and effort into this place. It is truly beautiful. The amount of detail throughout is admirable. Owners very easy to talk to and I appreciate all that was done for us during our stay. Will absolutely continue recommend.

Perfect cabin getaway.
We loved everything about our stay. Jill was very accommodating and friendly. Any questions we had she answered before could even ask. The cabin was just what we were looking for with lots of charm and very private and quiet. We found nothing lacking and had a wonderful time. We look forward to our next visit.

Perfect little hideaway
What a wonderful space! Everyone else has said it, but the pictures really don't do it justice. It's such a comfortable, cozy cabin in a great location. One of my favorite places I've stayed in recent memory! The cabin itself feels brand new. It's immaculately clean inside and out. The kitchen is actually well stocked beyond the bare essentials, so cooking was easy and convenient. The bed is comfortable and made for a great night of sleep. Lots of thoughtful little touches, like multiple nightlights throughout the cabin. My favorite part was the view from the hot tub, where we spent a lot of time. The property feels very private and quiet. Downtown Ellijay is short drive away, so plenty of restaurants nearby if you feel like getting out. Jill was a wonderful, communicative host. We felt like we had everything we needed for a quick, relaxing getaway. I would happily stay here again in the future!
