"The decor was unique. It was decorated like the White House and was full of interesting memorabilia about Presidents, current and past. Breakfast was good but not as spectacular as other inns we’ve been to. The grounds are nice and the house was close to areas we wanted to visit. "Beautiful inn ! Great breakfast !Friendly staff ! Don’t stay in room over kitchen !! Can hear all kitchen noise early as they are making breakfast . Also a trip hazard between room and bathroom! I fell there😒We were moved to the monument Grand room ! Absolutely stunning large room with a fireplace! Request that one if you can! No elevators so be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs . "Perfect for a family member’s birthday. The back yard is lovely. Had many deer come visit. Even with no leaves on the trees couldn’t make out the road way behind. Peaceful and quiet with so many great restaurants nearby ( and the regular Williamsburg attractions too, but not what we were there for.) Grocery store just a minute up the road, we enjoyed cooking for everyone in the kitchen. The house is well laid out for a small gathering. "
