The Rincon Ranch encompasses 20,000 acres (31 square miles) of the most beautiful landscape in the Southwest United States. The Ranch is located in one of the most remote and breathtaking areas of Western New Mexico and has complete privacy and security for guests. Access to the Ranch property and lodge is only given to one person or group at a time so guests have exclusive rights during their stay. Each group also has the option hiring one of our Ranch tour guides which will give them full access to the entire ranch. This is the only property of its kind in the World!!!
The Ranch has miles of Sandstone Mesas with spectacular views and numerous scenic outlooks. Long Sandstone Canyons with ancient Ponderosa Pines flow down from the Mesas into wide open grassy valleys. The Ranch has over 50 miles of hiking, biking, and OHV trails for guests to explore and enjoy while on the property. The Ranch also has many Ancient Native American ruins that were established by Anasazi tribes over 1,000 years ago. Guests will have the opportunity to see these ruins along with hundreds of unique Petroglyphs etched in Sandstone by the Anasazi tribes. While staying at the Rincon Ranch guests have many other activities to choose from besides just enjoying the beauty and seclusion. The Rincon Ranch has incredible wildlife populations of Elk, Mule Deer, Mountain Lion, and Black Bear making the wildlife viewing amazing. During certain times of the year hunting trips are also available to our guests. Guests are allowed to bring bikes and encouraged to hire one of our ranch guides to enhance their experience while on the ranch. The terrain on the ranch can be dangerous and unforgiving so we guests without a guide are only allowed to hike and explore within a one mile radius of the lodge.
Guests stay in the 8,000 square foot main lodge with all modern amenities and comforts. The lodge has internet, satellite television, and cell phone signal. The lodge has 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms that can comfortably sleeps up to 18 guests. Additional guests can sleep on rollaway beds or cots raising the occupancy of the lodge to 25 if needed. The lodge has a pool table, darts, karaoke, horseshoes, corn hole and bar area for nighttime entertainment. Guests can also step outside at night and look through one of our telescopes we have on our balconies to experience some of the best star gazing in the world. Every night outside of the lodge guests can build sit around the fire pit and roast marsh mellows and tell stories about their day at the Rincon.
All guests will be escorted to the lodge from the nearest town of Fence Lake, NM. Guests are encouraged to have a four wheel drive vehicle in case of inclement weather. Our ranch roads can get very muddy when wet. Our camp host will personally show you around the lodge and give you the boundaries of the area around the lodge accessible without a guide. Guests will be given complete in person instruction on using the lodge and all its amenities. Guests arrival times can be customized and a three day/three night minimum stay is required.
