"We had a very good experience at Knockderry Country House Hotel - the staff was very welcoming, kind and extraordinary helpful. We had two cosy, spacious rooms with sea view - clean and neat. The restaurant was maybe a little pretentious - serving quite ordinary food with white gloves - but the quality was ok. "

"Avril offered us a real bed and breakfast experience, meaning we felt like we were invited to stay the night in her home. We had a long interesting chat in the morning. If people want more of a "quick-and-easy" hotel experience, perhaps this is not the place for you. The room was beautiful with view on the sea, the house was very nice: we felt like the time had stopped for a bit which is exactly what we were looking for.
