"Wonderful little stay on the Mississippi River. The most AMAZING sunrises to wake up to ... as well as beautiful moon rises over the river. We will definitely be back! Fun little bars in town if you wish to step out ... had a blast. Ran down to the meat market across the border in IA, and that was a hoot! Very CLEAN and had every thing you need in a kitchen to cook anything. Wonderful host!"

"Beautiful home set in hilly and wooded surroundings with a stream just outside the house. We discovered two waterfalls, but our outdoor activities were limited due to the time of year. Would love to go back in spring to enjoy the foliage and outdoor activities. The house was well stocked not only with necessities, but lots of unexpected extras. Thank you, Pete, for a great stay!"

"Loved the cottage! Only complaint is we could at times hear the people in the next cottage thru shared wall. And loud trains at night. Loved the neighborhood, places you can walk. Short drive into cute town and state park. "

"We wanted a pet friendly "home away from home" and we certainly found it. The cottage is very nicely appointed inside and has pretty much everything you could want! We only used the master bed and although it is quite a soft mattress it is very comfortable and great pillows (which we never find!) We didn't bring our fishing gear but you couldn't really fish from the back it is too weedy, but it is not far to fishing spots. There were nice places to walk our dog right from the cottage.
