"Read reviews about checking in & was worried. I had no problem. Called the phone # - lady answered right away. Walked me through the payment & key card process & I was done & in my room in 5 minutes. She gave us a different room & it was clean & looked like all new bathroom and curtains. We'll definitely stay here again"

"Check-in was very easy and pleasant. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the in-room coffee was good. The caulking around the toilet was all loose so there was black stuff around the base of the toilet. Shower was clean and the water was nice and hot. The breakfast was a nice added bonus. The only negatives were that there were no sugar free options. Only carbs and sugar. But my fiancé was very happy with it all. "

"We had a quick overnight in the area & this motel was a good value. Close to the highway & walking distance to restaurants, coffee & town. Check in was easy, staff is very kind & friendly. Our room was very basic but spacious & clean. We slept well. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Just a perfect amazing experience from the second you walk in the door. Beautiful historic building. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. The wine and cheese happy hour with piano player was fantastic. Room was incredible - we stayed in Treetop Suite and I highly recommend. Breakfast was gourmet and cooked to order. We noticed most guests have been coming there for many years - I can see why. Add us to that list of regulars!"

"The elevators were not working during our stay. We were notified ahead of time and had an opportunity to cancel the reservation. Despite room being on the second floor, it was not a hardship. The cleanliness of the room, free breakfast and pleasant staff outweighed the inconvenience."

"Outstanding. Immaculate in every way. The pool, hot tub, room, everything connected with our stay here was truly superb. The hot breakfast, with fresh fruit was an added bonus. The staff was friendly, engaging, and a pleasure. All motels/hotels should be like this. Simply a wonderful experience. "

"I made an unfavorable post earlier because there were so many things, but I did change rooms once I got there and the 2nd room was not ready. I talked to the staff and everything was fixed immediately and I would definitely recommend staying at this place. They are kind, courteous and very close to so many things. The price is very good to. You will find yourself very comfortable here."
