"We loved the property and how close it was to the beach. Mattresses needed to be better and things like dish washing liquid and hand wash should be replaced with not just water. Coffee machine only had one pod, those things make a big difference in the best of ways.. thank you for a great stay otherwise ."

" Has a great layout for friends/ families holidaying together, and is within walking distance from the main beach and shops. A short drive to key tourist destinations. The yard was well maintained. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the property; we had to spend a large portion of our first day scrubbing all three bathrooms, cleaning the couch and washing kitchen utensils and plates. "Really enjoyed staying in the little house, and it was great we could bring Oscar (our Goldie) as well. Thank you to Helen and Joseph for allowing this. The house is very well equipped and spacious. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived as well. Thoroughly recommended. Venus Bay is a wonderful place for a relaxing holiday, and hope to be able to go there again in the future."

"We loved the location, so close to the beach it's almost like having a private beach. The house itself is pretty spacious and pleasant, lovely sitting areas and lot's of windows, it was a nice place to stay in.Having said that - the place needs some love and attention -The kitchen stove doesn't really work and with 6 people to feed it was almost impossible to make anything (stove was on for 40 min and still wasn't hot enough to cook an omelette). "Loved our stay at PeliCann Sands :) Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, great alfresco area where we spent most of our time. Lots of ‘little extras’ to help with a holiday stay. "Julie was a wonderful host who ensured we had everything we needed. The house is as described and was wonderful for us, 2 couples and 2 kids. It's about 2.5km to the front up and down some hills but we had a car so found it easy to get about. Lots of birds in the surrounding trees and a good outdoor space. Lots of books and toys for adults and kids."
