"The locale is absolutely beautiful and private, with a lovely long rocky beach. I recommend bringing binoculars to view the many and various seabirds and seals, especially upon return to the abode; So many wonderful picture windows. While the desire for security is understandable in this secluded place, and presence of cameras was divulged in the profile, in reality I personally felt uncomfortable with them (I’m a Mainer). "My wife and I like to spend our anniversaries ocean side and this was a beautiful loction and place to spend it. Alot to do in the area and the property / private beach was extremely relaxing. "

"My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...

"The pictures don’t do this justice. It’s a perfectly lovely camp (if you’re a Mainer, you know this term), and the views and peace and quiet can’t be beat. The camp is easy to find, cozy, comfortable and clearly has such wonderful memories from Laura’s family. We picked this place because it’s right between Lubec/Campobello Island and Bar Harbor/Acadia, with easy driving access to both places. Laura was very kind and contact with her was prompt and friendly. We wouldn’t change a thing about this...

"Quiet and Secluded. We had a great time sitting around the fire, great memories, very clean, The kids had a great time. The top bunk mattress was fine for my 8 year old but would have been a bit stiff for me. My older son slept on the futon he loved it. Plenty of towels, The water heater is a small one but we could each get nice hot showers if we waited a bit between. It would reheat quickly for the next shower. "

It would have been helpful to know that it’s recommended to bring our own water. We both have back issues and found the bed uncomfortable. Close to Bar Harbor and many other awesome attractions. "
