"Breakfast could have been a “full” Welsh breakfast rather than having to choose between tomato or beans. Bread could’ve been better rather than a sliced loaf. Rooms and location on the other hand were excellent!"

"Whilst on this occasion things didn’t go as planned, I still couldn’t fault the staff on the way they sorted the issue quickly and generously. It was a trip away for my birthday and everyone went out of their way to make my stay memorable for all the right reasons. Amazing food, delightful surroundings, excellent staff, couldn’t fault our stay. A special shout out and thank you to Sonia, Dan, Lucy and the lovely lady with the glasses whose name I didn’t catch who greeted us for breakfast...

"Great secure location for dogs, Peaceful in the evenings. Took two Huskies who like to be the leaders of other dogs and they got on well with their dogs too. Ragland Castle is worth a visit. Chepstow castle was a bit disappointing, rude reception women and half of it was closed for repairs with no mention by the reception women."

"We had an amazing stay at Dan and Sarah's beautiful home. It is a fantastic property with stunning kitchen dinning room suited for socialising. The surrounding Countryside is great for waking and the homely feel made it perfect for the 3 toddlers we had with us and as a parent it was amazing that the kids were allowed to play with many of the toys left out. Thanks Dan and Sarah so much for accomadating our stay and going above and beyond to help my Father's 70th Birthday make unforgettable...

"The house was clean and presentable, and easily accessible. Plenty of kitchen utensils/cups and plates etc. Main bedroom bed was very comfy, the childrens single beds were a little hard and our daughter struggled. Children loved the hot tub, downside being you have to walk around the front to the back and especially when it's cold was off putting but others may not be bothered by this - it was just hard with a toddler. Main sticking point was the wood burner fire/heating - it was either freezing...
