"Came to Harrogate for a few days and this place was perfect. Has everything you need. It’s clean and the host was very very helpful with great communication. Location is easy to get into Harrogate and even in the snow storm I could walk into the centre as the buses were suspended. There’s a shop at the end of the road and the neighbourhood is very quiet. The house was very welcoming - a Christmas tree had been installed and the owner had kindly supplied some food and wine to get us started. The house is near the hos[ital and just a short stroll to the centre with its shops, bars, restaurants etc. At the end of the street and closeby here were take away outlets and a Onestop shop for milk etc."

"The house is exactly as shown in the photographs, clean spacious and comfortable. The location, close to Harrogate town centre, was ideal. Just a 30 minute drive got us to Nidderdale. The neighbourhood was quiet and there was always space to park outside. On cooler evenings, the remote control gas fire was both warming and comforting. Communication with Ben, the host, was excellent, timely and accurate."

"We had a wonderful stay at Swallow Barn. Only wish we had more time to spend there. The house was exactly as pictured and described. Plenty of room for our party of 6. Grounds are lovely and the view spectacular! Kitchen was very well stocked with everything we could possibly need. We loved our Yorkshire stay."

"We had a very nice 4 day stay to attend a trade show. It couldn’t have been much closer which was great, and close to all the nice restaurants. There’s 1 parking space available which is ideal as parking in the town centre can be difficult. I’d def stay again."
