"This place has the best hosts! Heidi and Dan don’t just keep the rooms and premises immaculate, enjoyable and comfortable- they provide delicious breakfasts and great recommendations to places of all types in the island. Mango sunset has a beautiful view of the ocean while enjoying your breakfast, reading a book, or playing a Hawaiian guitar (a guitar was in our room)! We will definitely go back! "

"The room was great; large, ensuite, and included a heater as it was cool at night. The location is terrific for the Hawaii Volcano NP. Self check-in is leading edge; every guest gets a unique front door code that works from 3:00 PM on check-in and stops working at 11:00 AM on checkout. Having said that, breakfast is nothing special; pre packaged items pastries and fruit. If you wish, you can cook your own as long as you clean up after yourself."

"The property is amazing with beautiful views. The host is very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned before us. There was still hair in the drain that was not ours and cobwebs in many corners. BUT we would absolutely stay here again because it was wonderful! "

"We didn’t spend too much time outside of sleeping here but the photos don’t do the space justice as it’s way larger than we expected. It’s almost like three full room sizes with a wonderful bathroom with stunning tile work. Definitely need to keep this location next time we come back "
