"Beautiful setting, fab Breakfast and very friendly staff. Few areas of the accommodation not cleaned, very dusty mirror going up the stairs, in the bedroom sticky substance on the dresser in front of coffe maker. Window sills dusty/dirty when wiped with tissue. Minor issues but for the price charged expected perfection. Would I stay again yes, but food in restaurant pricey for what it is so probably would not eat in again."

"We had a 3 night stay, along with other family members staying 2 nights. The hotel is very conveniently located, close to the sea front and amenities in Paignton. Our room was so comfortable and homely, absolutely spotlessly clean. The welcome from the hosts was so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay and the communication was good from booking to leaving. We would certainly be sure to book again when visiting the area.Our choice for booking this hotel was...

"Booked a double room, upgraded on the 4th floor family room?.Too noisy, allocated next to a lift shaft which generated noise late evening and early morning. Reception not very helpful at check-in, issue with deposit on booking with Expedia. "

"We booked last minute without really doing any research but we got a lovely room with a bath/shower. The staff were all very welcoming, down to earth and friendly. Ideally located. Bed was very comfortable and the room cleaned to a high standard. Although there was shower gel/soap there was no shampoo & conditioner. "

"The property is apparently quite new and it did appear to be. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We mainly didn't eat at the property. Not sure but it appeared they were short of options. Tried to book a table for 10 and they very kindly let us know they were changing their menu and had shortages. There are plenty of other options to eat very nearby. My one issue that I would like to bring up is the £15.00 per day charge for our dog. ( very small dog ) The reason I think this unfair...

"Fab little find. A really nice hotel with lovely staff. Lovely rooms. Little bit of damage in my room but this was explained with a lovely note. Rooms are very well decorated and the bathroom was very clean. My only negative is the breakfast start time at 8am. With being at work I could have done with it being a little earlier. However it’s much more suited to holidaymakers. I will for sure return. "
