Summary:
Ultra-modern open plan Holiday Home set over two levels with a separate private self-contained studio/granny flat. A home where you can just sit back, relax, and take in the amazing views of the mighty Derwent River across to Hobart City and up to Mount Wellington. Situated in a quiet, affluent Hobart suburb of Howrah this spacious, comfortable, modern home has room for all the family (6 bedrooms) including a separate studio for the mother-in-law. Only a 15 minute drive to the CBD and Airport.

The Space:
Spacious and stylish home truly promotes a feeling of peace and invites you to simply relax into the super comfortable space.
The home sleeps up to 12 Guests comfortably, with 6 bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed, ensuite with, shower, toilet and dual vanities, as well as a walk-in wardrobe. There are 3 spacious bedrooms with Queen size beds and another with a King single bed with a pull-out trundle ideal for the kids. All bedrooms are well appointed, with built in robes using the highest quality and professionally laundered linen, all bedrooms benefit with an additional bathroom with large vanity, separate shower and spa bath.

The entertaining area is the most magnificent space perfect to enjoy family dinners or to sit and relax taking in the amazing outlook, watching the boats pass by. A huge, covered area that has large sliding doors allowing you to enjoy the cool breeze, with a large comfy outdoor dining table and chairs. The area flows effortlessly off an open plan formal dining and living area.

The lounge room has large corner lounge, and a number of scattered bean bags, with a large Smart Tv and DVD.

The kitchen has been completely renovated offering a large island bench and high-quality appliances which include a steam oven, induction cooktop, double dishwasher and all the essentials needed to make that Sunday lunch or special dinner. The kitchen area is a wonderful space to sit and enjoy with a practical table and chairs and breakfast bar.

There is a large office area, that also doubles as agames area with a table tennis table.
Outside the back door you will find a BBQ and the entrance to the publis bush land reserve area with a mass of walking tracks

Downstairs you will find a wonderful seperate studio an ideal space for those who want to escape the family or in laws. There is a large living area/bedroom with Queen-size bed and comfy lounge and Television, with a kitchenette and another bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity.

A garage is provided for two cars, with electric roller doors providing secure access to the home. there is also free on street parking.


Key features ducted heating/cooling throughout, polished Tas oak flooring, and dedicated study space with a desk and ergonomic chair There is everything you could ever want or dream for. A huge property offering privacy, the most sensational views and situated less than 10 minutes to Hobart's CBD and just a few minutes to major services. Close to local parks, shops, beach and transport.

Throughout their stay, guests have complete access to the apartment.

The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood surrounding the property offers a relaxing atmosphere while still providing the necessities of inner city living.
Five-minute drive from the property is a Woolworths Supermarket at the Shoreline Shopping Centre and Hotel, . Eastland’s Shopping Centre is the largest Shopping Centre in Tasmania with over 90 stores is only 10-minute drive away.
Walk down (1 km) to the waterfront to the walking track , explore foreshore walking tracks and playgrounds with plenty of rocky water pools to explore.
There is a great kids park on the way to the waterfront, any many more play parks dotted around the suburb.
A great kids beach is just 3 minutes drive away at Howrah Beach by the Sunshine Tennis Courts.
In Bellerive, which is just a short drive away (5 minutes), there are many cafes and restaurants as well as the famous Blundstone Arena home of the Hobart Hurricane Cricket team it and the second home ground for the North Melbourne's Kangaroo's .

Getting Around:
To fully experience the best of Hobart and surrounding areas it's better to have a vehicle. There is a bus service that travels into the city if you would rather use public transport. There is a Bus stop just down the road from the house on Oceana Drive (see MetroTas timetable for the bus service you require)
