"This was a great place to stay. I can imagine that in the summer, folks who want to get on the river or sit around the fire pit would be so happy. We stayed when it snowed hard so we didn't do any outdoor activities. The owner was amazing. She attentive and responsive. The only issue we had was with the dogs in the neighborhood. There is a sign when one pulls onto the road that there are a bunch of dogs who live there, which isn't a problem if one isn't allergic to dogs. What we didn't expect...

"My friend and I needed some post-Christmas girls trip fun and relaxation, and the Big Red Cabin was the perfect spot! We enjoyed exploring Saugatuck and Holland, even with a few rainy days. The cabin was perfect for getting cozy with drinks and TV time, plus we thoroughly enjoyed hopping in the hot tub each night. Erica was a thoughtful and friendly host!"

"Cleaning is not the best. Dust webs all around the legs of the furniture. Ceiling fan ln kitchen needs cleaning. "

"Lovely location! Easy access to Saugutuck and Douglas but secluded and so beautiful! We were so fortunate to be there during Sandhill crane migration (we stayed 10/23-10/27) and there were literally hundreds of cranes in the marsh by the river!! Unfortunately we were also there during duck hunting season so the peace and tranquility was a bit ruined each morning but gunshots and loud boats. The gunshots scared all the cranes away! I would definitely avoid hunting season in the future! The...

"This property was clean, comfortable, cozy and charming tucked into a wooded area with a private stairway down to the shore of Lake Michigan to a private beach. The view of Lake Michigan from the house was amazing. The kitchen was well equipped and bright. There were plenty of places to sit inside and outside and enjoy the view. "

"At after several months of a critical health issue, my husband and I needed a 'get away' and this was a wonderful choice. The cottage provided everything we needed. It was clean...and cute! We were so pleased to find that we were very close to the water - just a short path and a few steps to an amazing beach. The neighborhood was quiet and we were very close to communities for good food and some extra scenery. Thanks for sharing your peaceful cottage. We will be back!"

"Before booking, we were unsure because we typically stay right on the lake. We weren't sure how much the daily commute to the beach and back would bother us but it was easy peasy with the golf cart! I'm sure it wouldn't have bothered us even without the golf cart because they do have a nice scenic trail through the woods to get there where we saw deer and turkeys. Jeannette was very helpful prior to booking and accomodating. We didn't have to reach out to her during our stay because everything...
