"We have stayed several times, and although the rooms are in need of some modernisation, the staff and the food are exceptional. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order, and the evening meal service is exceptional … there really is no reason to dine anywhere else!"

"The beeds in the room was really bad, to soft and you could feel the springs all night. The bedding’s was also horrible especially the pillows. Wi-Fi well it’s there but you can’t use it, because you will loose connection every minute Poor standard compared to other hotels "

"We had a lovely big room Yell overlooking the garden. The hotel was peaceful and quiet even though there were some big groups staying. Always plenty of hot water and heating which was needed after being in the cold winds at Shetland. Staff very helpful and polite - they helped us book ferries to Yell and Unst. Breakfast and dinner very plentiful - too much for me at times but you can ask for a half portion. Lovely lounge to relax in on an evening. Highly recommend and we hope to be back at...
