"The house is a cute cottage however pretty rough around the edges, in the process of being tidied up but still a way to go. "The accommodation is opposite the main house but is private and overlooks the dam. We enjoyed watching the chickens and paddymelons. There didn't seem to be anywhere to walk or explore the property, but we weren't there long enough to ask. The accommodation itself is lovely - very comfortable bed and kitchen with everything you need. It was a very nice place to stay overnight before heading to Bruny."

"Beautiful cottage. Pretty and quaint. Gardens beautiful. Position of house it is adjacent to was a spoiler for us. We were envisioning sitting out looking over valley enjoying view, not rooftop so close.The hostess was very hospitable and had put beautiful roses in room. Not being able to go for a nice bush walk was disappointing. For relaxation and comfort though this was exceptional. "

"Really enjoyed staying at the Heritage Garden Cottage. The location is brilliant for access to Salamanca Place and all of the excellent eateries close by. It's a heritage area surrounded by gorgeous early Australian architecture and steeped in history. The cottage itself is well appointed and very clean and comfortable plus the garden is divine and has water views. "
