"Such a lovely, unique experience staying in a private ‘igloo’. Everything about the igloo has been well thought through. There are 3 heaters and electric mattress warmers to ensure warmth in the cold months. They were very effective. If the Northern Lights had been visible during our stay, we would have had the perfect view. "Me and my boyfriend had a good stay at this property. It has parking for anyone hiring a car. The host was great, offering breakfast and lifts if needed. There was a language barrier but anyone who is not Spanish can just use google translate and it is easy enough. We had full use of his flat including the kitchen etc. Cheaper alternative to hotels and a nicer option than hostels. "

"icland for us is a place with some profound memories... this place thomas built, Nollur, has its position in our history. and its so nice to see, after years gone by, to come back to that place, and its overall quality is still there in the same way.from my perspective it has it all. great location. remote but still within a reasonable drive to akureyri, its so calm. but you can see the force of nature, and if you want to, go out an feel it! ;-)its built simple but high quality. sturdy. elegant....

"We really enjoyed our stay at this logde, with fantastic view over the lake and a very comfortable house in every way. The kitchen was more than fully equiped to suite every need to make dinner - and we loved the wide ragne of wine glasses and coffee making possibilities. To make the stay even better there is not much to add, we had good communication with Björn all the way trough. We were all 6 very happy with the stay and will return to this house again if we visit Iceland again."

"Everything about this charming home and its hosts was an absolute delight. Nestled atop a hill, you get lovely views when seated in multiple spots around the house. "This was a large, roomy home with everything you could need. I really liked the comfy blankets and my kids liked the bunk bed room. The bath towels were nice and cozy too. The decor made a difference too. It felt like we were staying in a storybook home. I loved the long wooden dining table and accompanying bench. "Almost everything was fantastic. Just a few suggestions...Purchase a refrigerator with a working ice machine and filtered water to drink. The tap water had a sulfur taste to it. Separating the trash seemed to be a big issue. I suggest you label the trash bins to avoid confusion. One last thing...put a "notice" on the surge protector that ii MUST be on for the internet to work. It was accidentally tripped when plugging in an adapter and it was not discovered for awhile."
