"Hide (owner) is such a kind and compassionate person. On arrival he gave us fruit and there were many snacks provided in the rooms. Many of the other days he would give us more fruit and then a lovely gift when we left. Every day he was so helpful in removing all the snow from our vehicle before we left for the ski fields. Hide is what makes this hotel such a pleasant place to stay. Thanks Hide, we loved staying with you!"

"A stay on the cheaper side of the usual Hakone pricing. Very big room. The public bath was not well maintained, and therefore not enjoyable to use. Location is not ideal but not a big issue if you have a car available."

"The property is really beautiful; gorgeous views, stunning room, and the private onsen is incredible. Absolutely no feedback on the room, grounds, staff, property, etc all amazing! It’s nice that dinner and breakfast are included given that you are quite a walk uphill from Gora and other restaurants. The food is presented in a beautiful setting and the service was wonderful. That being said, the food itself left much to be desired and given the price, we expected it to taste better. "

"Det var et fint ophold. Stedet ligger ca. 20 minutter fra stationen til fods. Smukke omgivelser med bjerge og floder. Mulighed for at købe morgenmad, aftensmad og vist også frokost på stedet. Jeg fik morgenmad og aftensmad under hele opholdet og det smagte lækkert. Der var ret koldt, men der var både et varmetæppe og varmeblæser på værelset. Det eneste minus var renligheden på værelset. Det kunne være bedre. Overflader var støvede og gulvet ligeledes."

"Rigtig fin beliggenhed, fedt med mulighed for billig cykelleje, meget søde og hjælpsomme ejere/personale. Lækkert med dorms hvor man samtidig havde sit eget aflukke. Enormt rent og pænt, også kun et halvt år gammelt."

"房間相對來說是偏小的，整潔度還可以，溫泉很舒服，但附近生態好，露天溫泉比較容易看見小飛蟲，會在意的可能選室內比較好，早餐還不錯，櫃檯人員都相當親切，貓貓也很可愛，附近有超市離車站也不算遠，相當方便"

"Wonderful stay! Our friends were late in arriving and they held dinner for them. The dinner and breakfast were amazing. The staff speaks limited English but worked hard to make everything perfect for our stay. I would recommend staying 2 nights to really experience Kinosake Onsen."

"We had a really nice stay, it met our expectations. Everything was clean and working, even though walls are thin people were good at being respectful and quiet. Only thing we were missing was plug with ground to use our adapter or USB charge in the wall. Also i found the matresses a bit hard to sleep on. The personal are english speaking and very helpful. Can highly reccomend the hike from Nakatsugawa to Nagiso through magome and tsumago. It is a nice find to the price. Overall a memorable amd...

"Internet drops upstairs specifically the corner room -M. Host accommodating, fantastic location, room is small but if you’re staying nights only it’s pretty good. Has lift. Checkin can’t be early- if you come early you’ll have to wait. Toilet is clean, shower is good. Dustbin, towel, 1 extension power adaptor (Japanese socket only) provided. Bring your own water bottle, slippers are provided. "
