"Love this hotel, great family atmosphere. Hoping the refurb doesn't loose too much of the originality this place has. Otherwise will loose his quaintness and staff and be too expensive and will change the clientele."

"The hotel is on the promenade of Exmouth. Slightly tired and dated looking property, the lock on our door did not work but room a nice size and bed was comfortable, we had a view out to the sea which was nice. We did not eat in the hotel, we did use the bar which was small but fine. I would stay here again."

"Julie my wife and I stayed at kates farm for three nights for a break and a rest, we had a great break and we are totally rested. Fantastic break, Julie and Kate walking dogs every morning and evening, I kept the real fire going and that was perfect for us to sit down next to in the evening. Others said the breakfast was great and they are correct, Kates breakfast was fantastic .Kate was very attentive at all times and we felt perfectly at home."

"A typical mid range seaside hotel. Like the curates egg, good in part. Trying to be objective but honest, so staff were nice, breakfast and dinner good and lovely sea views. On the other hand reception was a bit like a small guest house but it worked. Our room/suite was potentially a very nice room spoilt by a miniscule bathroom about 1.5m square and virtually impossible to get two people in there at once! And the other crazy thing which apparently has been mentioned before? The TV is on the...
