"It is a beautiful hotel and all the staff was fantastic!! The room was amazing! Fiona at the front desk went out of her way to welcome us. A perfect person to start our hotel stay. Very informative and welcoming! Our dinner and breakfast host Manjo (I probably have spelled his name wrong) was GREAT! My wife has a dairy intolerance and he made sure at night everything was dairy free and he remembered the next morning. All the staff who waited on us we very pleasant, smiling and friendly. You...

"We loved our stay here. Such a beautiful place. Was pleasantly surprised at how good the restaurant was. Sticky pudding was the best we've had in the UK. Fish and Chips were amazing. Such a wonderful area. Highly recommend this place. We will be back. "

"Large hotel offering good sized rooms, comfortable beds and complimentary breakfast. There's a restaurant on site as well as a bar along with lounge areas. The views are amazing especially when the sun shines. There are plenty of opportunities for walking, a large carpark and a bus stop only a 2 minute walk away. "

"Or stay in a signature double room for 2 nights in June was very much enjoyed. The staff were excellent, Daryll and Marianne thank you. Welcomed dogs. Fantastic location. Parking in the main Keswick capital was not a problem - cheap at £12:50 for 24 hours and dropping off suitcases was easy. We are on the restaurant and the food was great. Breakfast was top notch. We would stay again. Thank you to all staff. "

"The Castle Inn is situated approximately 4 miles outside of Keswick, it is surrounded by mountain views, fields and idealic views. The Bassenthwaite Lake is a 40 minute walk away, a Wildlife park is a 20 minute walk away and Dodd Wood Forestry/Osprey View Point is a bus journey away. The hotel staff made us feel very welcome, we're polite and answered any questions we had. Breakfast has a nice variety of food, the Tavern food was expensive but worth the big portion sizes, the leisure club area...

"We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. We hope to get back there again!"

"Really nice accommodation in a very nice location. Well presented and clean lodge with great view of the Lake. Brilliant welcome pack very informative and welcome advice on walks and where to go. Enjoyed the area 15 min drive to Keswick, I found that the turn off from the road to the site is a short distance from the signage and recommend hiiting your indicator as soon as you have passed the sign and start slowing as you often have cars travelling at speed behind you.
