Remarkable home just east of Keystone off Highway 40 just 15 minutes to Mt. Rushmore and minutes Rushmore Cave.
Exceptional 2 level home conveniently located in the Black Hills.  The lower level has a king bedroom and full bath, living room and access to the garage which can be used for parking of vehicles or a social room.  The upper level has a king bedroom and queen bedroom with 2 additional bathrooms both with walk in showers.  The living area offers a comfortable sitting area including bay window and access to the wrap around deck.  The spacious full kitchen and dining area are a great gathering area.

Great Place, Great Host

We enjoyed our stay! The check-in process was easy and the host was so quick to communicate. We had a couple of questions during our stay and the host promptly responded and took care of any issues. We would definitely recommend the host and the property.

Spacious but cozy

This house was so spacious and comfortable! Our stay was very pleasurable. Very clean, comfortably furnished, and enough space to spread out. The management handled a couple of minor hiccups quickly. The location was perfect for accessing area attractions. The turkeys and deer made appearances every morning!

Keystone Stay

Property was very nice. Kitchen was supplied with everything needed. Only problem we had was water in the lower level from recent heavy rain. location was excellent with easy access to everything we did during our stay.

Friends Weekend.

3 couples, (high school sweethearts and still married), have shared this yearly event for over 25 years now. This year my husband and I chose the Black Hills as we had so enjoyed the same trip last summer, just the two of us. Think the over all experience was awesome, and our VRBO accommodations were great. The home was centrally located for most everything we planned to do. Loved the wildlife, (deer and turkeys) which strolled by often. Kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs and the back patio was so inviting with comfortable table/patio chairs. Internet wasn’t the best, but wasn’t the priority.

The Getaway!

Ideal getaway for three couples, we had an awesome time at the house. The home was well kept, clean and had all the amenities that you would need. We enjoyed having the deer, turkeys in the front yard in the mornings and evenings. The location was great and close to all the tourist sites! Pop's grocery store in Hermosa was within nine miles from the house. Kathleen was spot on in any questions or concerns that we had, communication was great. Five Stars *****

Absolutely wonderful trip and great property

The property was wonderful. The location is half way between Keystone and Hermosa. The property was super clean with lots of towels and blankets and a fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook. We had deer in the yard every day and sat on the upper deck in the morning and had coffee and then sat in the converted garage downstairs in the evening listening to the crickets and enjoying the evening air. There were six of us staying and the bedrooms were a great size. The bathrooms aren’t en-suite but are very close to the bedrooms with two bathrooms on the main level by the two bedrooms on this level and the other bathroom is across from the one bedroom on the lower level. The wifi signal is a little hit and miss but we all managed fine. We would highly recommend this property and for 6 people it is very spacious. Our questions were promptly answered even in the evening and on the weekend.

Our VRBO was in a great location and I would absolutely stay there again. Just a couple small details, The shower head in shower broke off and there was barely any laundry soap available. also we purchased a couple can off Wasp killer as my wife is sooo scare of them and we killed 3 nest

Beautiful Black Hills Property

We had a great stay last week! The house was very comfortable and well stocked. Plenty of bedding, towels, dishwasher soap, hand soap, trash bags, kitchen items. There was enough laundry detergent for a couple loads which worked out fine for us. The only thing not provided was body wash, shampoo/conditioner. Make sure you bring it with you as there aren’t many places to shop nearby. I found some travel sized toiletries at a little food mart in town but everything was understandably overpriced :) the beds were very comfortable! We saw dozens of deer on the property and loved having 2 horses next door! Great location close to Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park. Secluded and quiet but also easy to get to all the local attractions. Kathleen was very quick to respond and easy to get ahold of. I would definitely stay again if in the area!

Needed More WiFi

Overall the house suited our needs. Wi Fi was very spotty making it different to keep in touch with family at home. Couldn’t count on TV working. Also downstairs was very cold even though upstairs was fine. Steep stairs to downstairs not easy to manage.

my family had an enjoyable long weekend in South Dakota. this home was centrally located in a beautiful setting. If we hadn't been so busy doing all the tours such as Buffalo Run Crazy Horse Mount Rushmore Deadwood the caves and Custer Park we would have been thrilled to stay at the house longer. the house was centrally located and easy to get to all these activities. the house was really spacious and be sure to check out the basement social area! love the decor!!!

Quiet place to get away.

Perfect on the Prairie

First step into the house was unexpected excitement. This home is so spacious and beautifully decorated. We traveled with another couple and the set up was perfect. The lower level was like another entire living space. Every room in the house was inviting and interesting. Loved the garage space that was transformed into a gathering room. The decor was terrific. John Wayne was a hit! We went to Mount Rushmore, The Badlands, Rapid City, Crazy Horse, drove the Needles highway ,Wall Drug , Devils Tower and Sturgis. All done from this house. Loved our stay here. Thank you for sharing.
