Close to the Village Shopping Center and Central hospitals such as Mayo, Gundersen. Located 1.1 miles from UWL and 2.1 miles from La Crosse Center.

Stayed one night
The location of the house was great for an appointment we had in La Crosse. The backyard looked nice and I wish we would have been able to utilize it. One of the “bedrooms” is open to the living room, but that was fine for us. Overall it worked for what we needed.

Great price but not as it seems
Lawn wasn't mowed, outdoor space was not usable, attracted mosquitos and bugs. Pictures were deceiving, they showed the inside of a storage shed, which was confusing, since we thought that was part of the living space.

Very cozy cottage
We spent a night in LaCrosse on our way out West. Olena was very responsive and helpful. The interior space was very clean and comfortable. Washer and drier a real plus as was the patio and BBQ in the backyard

Nice place, but...
A very cute little house that is very clean with a nice back area. There is one small TV that flips from the family area to one of the beds (family area and one bed is an open space). No tv in second bedroom and pillows were so large they were impossible to sleep on. Trains ran constantly late into the night, very close to the house.

Lovely roomy place to stay
As described, it was centrally located. Everything in the house was so clean and well taken care of. Only note of caution for future guests - there are a lot of trains running on the tracks right behind the house, and even the windows in one bedroom rattle from time to ring.

Summer of 60
My friend and I have wanted a quick get away to celebrate life and turning 60 and we found the perfect spot. Truly a beautiful home and the backyard with fire and patio was a wonderful ending to our day.

Would rent again
I would certainly rent again because where else can you get a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom for this price!! There are a couple things that are important to note, though, so other families can plan accordingly. While there are two bedrooms, one is open to the living room so that may be helpful to know. There is a door to close off the bedroom/bathroom/living room area from the kitchen and other bedroom but not an actual door to close off this second bedroom. It says they provide shampoo, but there wasn't any in the bathroom. There was body wash and conditioner, but might want to plan accordingly to ensure you have what you need. It also had a blowdryer listed, but I didn't find one in either bathroom. None are deal breakers whatsoever, just good to be aware of if you are renting this house. The pictures show a great outdoor area and it looks like another building with atleast one room, which we didn't even explore but may have been nice to give more space and separation, if we had spent more time there. Thanks for sharing your home with us and for the great communication and responsiveness. I appreciated it!

LaCrosse Tournament
Nice little place that is definitely close to the main attractions in the area. We were in town for a tournament at the LaCrosse Center and this place was within 3 miles. There is a train that runs basically through the backyard. When we saw it and heard it before going in ...we were concerned BUT, once inside ...we didn't notice it and it didn't interrupt sleep. The beds are low frame so if you have mobility issues getting up/down, take that into consideration.

Wonderful Stay at Property
The property owner was very kind and professional. She communicated well and gave me specific check in directions prior to my arrival. The property was very clean and well decorated. It was a comfortable place to stay for the night while visiting my daughter. The only glitch was that I read the listing as it was written... 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. There was also a sleeper sofa. I planned on having my daughter sleep in her own room, but the second bedroom was not available. My daughter slept on the sleeper sofa. The property owner was very fair and made things right since we counted on what the listing stated. We enjoyed our stay and would love to rent this property again in the future!

Cozy, modern, restful and serene
My friend and I came to La Crosse for an evening of live music, and wanted a quiet place away from the bars to spend the night. We pulled into town and found our safe harbor in no time. The key code was easy to use, and we stepped into this spotless, elegant space with a bedroom and bathroom for each of us, and an inviting kitchen table. The vibe is uncluttered, yet warm, with charming touches, including real coffee and a moka maker, not Keurig! I was delighted. The owner was clear and up front about the rules--don't bring the party home--which we appreciated. A great choice for mature and sober travelers, or a small family. I'll be back if my travels bring me to La Crosse again.
