LOCATION:

The Hacienda is located at the exclusive Casa de Campo Resort in La Romana, the Dominican Republic.

Casa de Campo Resort is a large, gated resort & residential community with 24-hour gated entrance and security.

Since the resort’s opening in 1974 as the first resort in the Dominican Republic, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas has been a favorite luxury destination for discerning travelers and celebrities from all over the world. Known as the best golf resort, the 3 Pete Dye golf courses include Teeth of the Dog, which is ranked as one of the top golf courses in the Caribbean.

This incredible 7,000-acre resort, located in La Romana on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, is a tropical playground that features a unique variety of amenities and a private beach club with swimming pools at Minitas Beach. Casa de Campo is also home to many gourmet dining options, fantastic bars, and Altos de Chavón – a one-of-a-kind 16th-century replica Mediterranean village.

La Romana airport is located five minutes from the resort. Punta Cana Airport is located approx. 45-minutes drive from the resort and Santo Domingo Airport is about 1 hour away.

NOTE: You’ll have a golf touring cart included with the villa rental for transportation around the resort.

THE SPACE:

Nested in one of the most quiet and private quarters of Casa de Campo, The Hacienda offers a calming view of the golf course. Surrounded by lush interior gardens, the common areas bring the warmth of Colombian magic and the life of coral pigments to this enchanting Villa. The Hacienda is the ideal vacation home to relax, exercise, and dine with friends.

The Hacienda is a cozy 5-bedroom, 5 1/2 bath, single-level villa, which makes it very convenient for multi-generational families of all ages.

Enjoy a tropical indoor-outdoor sitting area in the center of the main patio. This is an ideal place to have drinks by the swimming pool, surrounded by nature, with an inspiring view of the pool and golf course.

Overlooking the pool, the gazebo is a great place for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. It’s also a great area for BBQ grilling and having lunch by the pool. In the middle of the lawn and tucked away, you’ll find the hidden Jacuzzi and a small lounge area. This private spot is ideal for dreaming and disconnecting. You’ll be surrounded by tall palm trees and beautiful outdoor lighting. From here, you have a great view of the villa, especially at nighttime.

The large living room is airconditioned and has a very comfortable setup. The space is great for hot days when you are done with hot weather.

The main dining room is decorated with massive, Colombian chandeliers and very high ceilings. An oversized credenza and vitrine complement a beautiful 14-seat dining table overlooking the main patio.

The villa has a large kitchen with a central island, double sink, 36-inch wide stove and oven, extensive granite countertop, large fridge, and freezer - – AND your villa rental includes a cook, so you don’t have to cook during your vacation (food and beverages are not included). A cozy dining area and high ceilings complete the open kitchen, which has everything you need to prepare a lovely dinner. If you don’t want to cook, we recommend hiring a private chef to cook for you during your vacation (see add-on services below).

1. “Macondo”, the primary bedroom with 1 King bed, sofa area air-conditioning, large ensuite bathroom, closet space, and garden/golf view.

2. “Antioquia” bedroom with 2 Queen beds, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, closet space, and a private balcony.

3. “Cartagena” bedroom with 2 Full beds, armoire (wardrobe), wide windows with garden view, TV, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, and ensuite bathroom.

4. “Cali” bedroom with 1 King bed, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, closet space, and ensuite bathroom.

5. “Magdalena” bedroom with 2 Full beds, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, closet space, wide windows with garden view, and ensuite bathroom.

CASA DE CAMPO RESORT FEE:

The villa rental does not include the mandatory Casa de Campo Resort fee, which must be paid on arrival at the resort:

Adults 12+ years old: US$ 25 per person per night
Kids 4-12 years old: US$ 12 per person per night
Kids less than 4 years old: FREE

NOTE: Separate fees apply for use of resort facilities/amenities, food & beverages at restaurants/bars, sports activities, lessons, etc. Additional fees are not included in the villa rental.

VILLA STAFF:

Cook: Your private Spanish-speaking cook will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner to be enjoyed at the villa (groceries are not included). The cook may reside on the property in a separate living area.

Housekeeper: The villa rental includes a Spanish-speaking housekeeper who will clean the villa, make the beds, wash towels and linens (usually every 3rd day). We do not offer personal laundry service. The housekeeper may reside on the property in a separate living area.

Villa Manager: You’ll also have an English/Spanish-speaking villa manager available during your stay. This is your go-to person for any questions or if you need any services that you haven’t booked before your arrival.

The villa manager will greet you when you arrive at the villa, check you in, and will be available daily throughout your entire stay.
