"Our family liked this little stone cottage though we didn’t realize how cramped we would feel. It’s probably a better fit for a couple. The setting on the lake is nice and would probably be fun in the summer. For a rainy fall weekend, there was little to do (no games, puzzles, internet, tv wouldn’t work w/o service, no bikes or fire pit as advertised). We made the best of it but found ourselves bored in the remote location. "

"We had a great time. The home was clean & space for 8woman was good. It’s was in a great spot close to NorthConway if you want to venture out. The price for the spot was good. The hill walking down to pond was steep. For young kids could be tricky. Wish the outside furniture was a little cleaner to sit on. We also couldn’t find any cleaning products to wipe down anything."

We extend it by staying for a couple of days at Lake Winnipesaukee The motel is perfectly located close to the venue and on the lake for swimming and boating while visiting BNH Pavilion. "The Squam Lake house was beautiful, clean and cozy. The house is located in a very quiet area with lots of wildlife. The Loons and baby bears (running across the road) were a thrill to see. We enjoyed walking down to the dock to put our feet in the water. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate during our trip or we would of swam at the dock or used the kayaks. We are hoping to visit again. "
