"Had a two night stay here for business purpose. Nice central location yet easy to access from the main roads. Friendly and helpful staff, decent pricing and practical parking in the underground under the hotel. The restaurant was OK but very pricy for the food served (I must admit I only ate there on monday, which is a "closed" day in Basque area / Spain, maybe the chef was off.) Go eat in one of the small bodegas or bars nearby instead. Breakfast was good. I'll come back to this hotel another...

"Aristieta is located in a beautiful, quiet, bucolic area of Kanpantxu, near Gernika. It is part of an organic farmstead operated by Alex and his wife, the hosts. Their home and farmhouse has been lovingly restored by their family and friends and is a unique property in every sense of the word. We enjoyed our stay very much, and especially, our spacious room with a magnificent view of the surroundings. The breakfasts were simple and tasty. Coffee was great! "Dejligt hotel, direkte på stranden. Stort værelse, god aircondition. Ingen mad inkluderet. Der er 2 restauranter, den ene åbner kl 09.30. Parkering, enten kan du ringe til hotellet og reservere en af deres, eller du kan holde på gaden og f.eks. betale med Easypark. Tæt på bykernenen med mange små hyggelige cafeer og restauranter. "

"Lovely casa rural, sympathetically restored to provide comfortable accommodation. Especially enjoyed the view of the goats from our room. Lots of information about what to see and do locally. We caught the train from Bermeo up the estuary to Gernika, a lovely trip."

"Lovely quiet county retreat. The staff were so nice and food delicious. Wonderful area for hiking but note that wooded walks only straight from the hotel. Only a short drive to get to more open hiking. Great towns nearby too."

"Room was clean and well appointed. Staff were very helpful. We booked mainly for its location close to the ferry port. Secure parking was a must for a fully loaded car after a long stay in Spain. The food in the restaurant was basic but very good. Maria who served us was by herself, but did a great job in dealing with a busy restaurant. I would recommend this hotel for the reason we chose it."
