"We had such an amazing trip and our stay was so quaint and comfortable! The staff was so very accommodating to our late arrival. You have to have the continental breakfast overlooking Lake Wallenpaupack- early morning views over the lake are amazing! "

"This was our 3rd stay at the Hotel Fauchere, and it has declined a bit in quality. Most importantly in their breakfast - used to be a gourmet breakfast, featuring brûléed grapefruit, quiche and homemade yogurt. Now it’s a buffet style breakfast, felt more like at a chain hotel. we came down around 915 (breakfast runs 8-10) and it was almost Empty…. No food left. A few bananas, and burnt bacon and potatoes. I spoke to the staff and they mentioned they had run out of the aforementioned homemade...

"I loved everything about this place. The family is so nice and kind. They staff was very helpful and generous. The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and cozy also really clean and festive for the holiday's the music was at a perfect volume were you can talk and have a conversation without yelling i mean this place was just perfect everything was thought out great. And to top it off the food was extraordinary first class we had the steak and risotto off the specials and it was one of the best...

"Everything is as expected, but you do have to walk up a flight of stairs with your luggage. Check-in and breakfast was a few doors down at the Fauchere Inn. "

"We enjoyed our stay with a large gathering of friends and their families. The house was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and sauna, as well the outdoor firepit and fishing in the pond. We also enjoyed the proximity to hiking and river rafting (which was kid-friendly). After the kids went to bed, the large dining area/ sun room provided a great space to socialize without having to worry about noise disturbing those who were sleeping.
