"Our welcome by the staff at reception was not very warm or friendly so my first impression was not very good. Our room was quite spacious and clean, but I admit that we didn’t realise that there were hotels that don’t have air conditioning, and this was one of them. Being a warm day and having a room on the second level our room was quite hot. They did provide a pedestal fan that helped. Breakfast was nice and the staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. "

The location of the property is unbelievable. It is located very close to Lake Tekapo. When we woke up in the morning, we couldn't believe the view in front of us. The place had been maintained very well. The facilities were amazing. There was a minor confusion about a fee being charged but the owners understood...

"It is a nice spacious apartment in a quiet neighborhood. It is close to the town center with shops, restaurants and supermarket. Unfortunately, the management didn't clean the apartment thoroughly because there was still strong odor (food smell / cooking from previous occupants). Also there was no paper towels or dish / cleaning cloths in the kitchen. Good thing was that the bedrooms upstairs were not impacted by the odor."
