Wonderfull hotel with an amazing vibe
Our family of six (2 adults and 4 kids aged 9-15) recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at the Nautilus Sonesta. From the moment you step into the lobby, you sense the hotel's quality and charm. The spacious, inviting lobby features a cozy café and a large bar with a comfortable lounge area. The receptionist staff greets you with welcoming smiles and exceptional service.
The pool area is a highlight, offering excellent service and a pool bar with refreshing drinks and tasty lunch bites. Some construction noise from hotels around is noticeable. The indoor restaurant, open for all meals, provided delightful breakfasts. While the breakfast buffet was somewhat limited and lacked made-to-order eggs, the à la carte options were superb. We highly recommend the power smoothies, avocado toast, and granola.
The location is fantastic—right on the beach, with beach service. Lincoln Road Mall is nearby for shopping enthusiasts.
Our rooms were spacious, comfortable, and quiet. We had connecting rooms: a "Two Queen Room" for our teenagers and a King Studio with a king-size bed and a sofa bed for our younger kids. The room decor was a bit dated, but we appreciated the large space.
Restaurants:
Fogo de Chao: Brazilian Steakhouse. Their Picanha amazing!
Osteria Da Fortunata: Fresh pasta as if you were in Rome, a bit pricey.
Tulum Mexican Taqueria & Grill: Good Mexican food in a quiet part of Ocean Drive.
Cheesecake Factory: Budget choice with great salads and, obviously, cheesecakes
