"This was an excellent, extremely clean TOP NOTCH property! The hospitality was over the top and very welcoming and responsive to texts. "We loved the old house and all the period furnishings. Mostly we loved that it could fit all of us in one place. A short walk to the nice little beach was great. A short drive to Walker or to Brainerd to explore. We had a wonderful time being together, sitting around a campfire, grilling, and playing in the yard."

"My two adult daughters and I were looking for a quiet, comfortable place to spend time together. We felt very much at home, and the host family generously invited us to help ourselves to whatever was available. Greg responded immediately when there was a problem with the fridge. The mattresses were great! We enjoyed looking around the small towns nearby, especially Crosby. A good carpet cleaning is recommended, but that's like home, too!"

"This property was just as pictured! The cabin was clean and we had everything we could need. If you are going with family and young kids it is perfect!! The lake is shallow by the cabin, not weedy or rocky and has a great beach for the kids to play. The cabin was stocked with beach toys, lake toys and baby items. We also enjoyed the addition of the hot tub. I would definitely recommend and would come back again! "

Patio area was great with its lounging furniture, gas fire pit and cooking area (grill, griddle, fridge). Home decor very nice, and can sleep a good number of guests (we wish there had been more plates and bowls to accommodate same).
