"Excellent hotel in Kathmandu with location near Thamel (but without all the noise from Thamel). Good breakfast and airport transfers included. Can only recommend before and after hiking in Nepal."

This hotel has it all
"Extremely welcoming staff meeting you with big smiles on arrival. The staff is really determined to make your stay the best 24/7. Be aware that the (young) reception/concierge staff do not always speak a clear English, so you may need to ask more times to get the full understanding of their explanations. The location of the hotel is great - close to main shopping areas, but still in a quiet residential area, with a hospital/pharmacy next door, and an integrated cosy complex with a lot of small handicraft boutiques and not less than four different restaurants that can all keep you busy for days - besides a small pool, library, fitness room and a nice spa. All in all a very good choice if you stay in Kathmandu for more days in a row"
