"We were welcomed by friendly staff and a lovely hotel. we felt like home and the advices in regards to sydney were fantastic"

"The external appearance is very dated. However inside it is charming. Lots of original features particularly in the library and games rooms upstairs. The inside courtyard area has a charm of its own. Our room was an internal room with no external air (windows opened into internal courtyard) and so we asked for a room with external windows which we could move to. Essential given the area was experiencing a heat wave! Breakfast excellent and plentiful. "

"Hotellet ligger centralt og i fin gåafstand til det meste - dog klods op ad et travlt og larmende lyskryds. Vinduerne var utætte, så havde disse været nyere, havde det sandsynligvis hjulpet på den massive støj fra vejen. Hverken hotellet eller værelset i sig selv er noget at råbe hurra for. Begge dele er utrolig slidte. Værelset (inkl. badeværelset) havde revner i loftet og væggene samt skjolder på begge dele, efter hvad der lignede at være gamle fugtskader. "We’ve been coming to the Dormie House on and off for 50 years. This year was special marking our 50th anniversary. Staff have always looked after us well. "

"Fantastic stay at Aloha Byron Bay. We arrived in the middle of the Corona crisis where the owner was swamped with cancellations, rebookings etc., but we were still met with a warm welcome and kindness. The house we stayed in was beautiful, breakfast and great coffee was provided in the kitchen for us to prepare on our own. The B&B is very close to town and to the wonderful beaches in Byron Bay. I cannot find one single thing I would have liked differently. We enjoyed our stay in beautiful Byron...

"We had a lovely stay at Sonja’s - we stayed in a miners suite which had parking right outside, there was a separate kitchenette with the essentials to make a light breakfast and prepare lunch. The bedroom was well appointed with dresser type space to keep our toiletries out of the small bathroom plus medications etc. The aircon was a bit noisy but efficient in the summer heat. The only thing is there wasn’t a PowerPoint on both sides of the bed, so I charged my phone in the kitchen. Insect...
