First of all we should have clear in mind about which property we are speaking: the hotel is rated 2-star which is pretty fine if you need a place to sleep and relax after visiting Nice. The hotel belongs to the famous airline Easyjet and it shares the same philosophy: basic service included, everything else you need to pay for.
Early and late check-in and check-out (upon availability) cost 20 Euros, baggage storage 5 Euro for each suitcase / trolley (rucksack is free of charge). Room cleaning is upon request, which I refused because I was staying only for 2 nights and I got 2 big towels in the room, hairdryer needs to be borrowed at the reception free of charge.
I liked quite much the position: fairly central, tramline 1 stop République, only one away from Place Garibaldi (less than 10 minutes on foot, with connection with tramline 2 to and from the airport), a big mall 3 minutes on foot from the property. Windows have a security lock, which in my case was broken but it was okay for me since I liked to keep my window open in the evenings. Rooms are definitely big for a 2* standards, very modern and clean (something I care a lot about).
What I didn't like is that in the room a waste bin is missing (except one very small in the bathroom), the room equipment was quite basic missing for example a place where to open your suitcase like the foldable ones you find in many hotels nowadays. Check-out at 10am is definitely too early.
Breakfast and staff are good.
