"We took our sons to Mackinaw area to see Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls and Sleeping Bear Dunes. This was the perfect location for us and the suite had everything we needed. Just steps away from the shopping district and Shepler's Ferry. Recommendations are Fox Den Pizza and Mackinaw Bakery. Thanks Terry and Jennifer for an awesome stay!"

"Beautiful home nestled in the woods. Easy access and close to town. Very quaint, nicely decorated apartment, small kitchen with everything you need to cook your own food. Special parking spot. So much better than staying in a hotel. The hosts have made it a very warm place to stay with plenty of privacy. Highly recommend. "

"Very clean, cozy apartment that is very close to activities in Mackinaw City. A quick walk to the ferry for going to the Island. Nice garden sitting area as well. Plenty of room for a couple. Owner very responsive. Only negative —kitchen missing a bigger bowl (for making pancakes) and sheet pan for oven. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Pros-very responsive property manager, good mattresses, private location, very very clean, accepts dogs Cons-one of the sleeping areas doesn’t have egress for fire, cold (pellet stove did not stay on despite being loaded. I don’t trust using them because if they are installed improperly they can cause CO poisoning), noise (you can hear the owners upstairs). Overall, good for a short stay in warm months. Not far from downtown Cheboygan and also not a bad commute to visit Mackinaw or Alpena. "

"Property off the beaten path a little but still only 20 min from Petoskey. Easy 15-20 min river run down to Crooked Lake and Pickerel Lake and only 45 min up to Burt Lake. Super close to your boat slip and these guys really worked with me on a medical issue I had during my initial reservation to move it to when I could attend. Will definitely stay again."

"This location was perfect for walking to shops and eateries (we recommend the Black Sheep). The place was bigger than we expected and very comfortable. The shower with 2 heads was a fun bonus. We went for fall hiking, biking, and relaxation and this place was perfect for our stay. Communication with the host was spectacular. This is possibly the best VRBO we have stayed in."

"You couldn't ask for a better host than Gene. We had been in Harbor Springs all week and were meeting our son in Gaylord for his last DJ gig of the year. "Communication with owner and the lady who's the manages the rentals was fantastic. They were considerate but couldn't help out since the whole place was booked that day. It emptied out the following day and we didn't get offered a better spot. According to Vrbo we thought we rented the one 20 steps off the water because of medical reasons and ended up 150 steps off the water with a small concrete slab and a gravel parking lot outside our door.
