"Charming apartment on the bustling streets of Bayeux. Coffee, pastries and restaurants within a block, many restaurant choices and a grocery store within 3 blocks. Walk to the cathedral and the museums. The apartment itself is small but well laid out, the living room overlooks the street and the bedroom is in the back (very quiet). "There were 6 of us staying at the property and the set up was terrific. Beds, bathrooms and living areas all comfortable and well fitted out. Nicely decorated and quite funky. Back yard garden and eating area also great. Short car run into Bayeaux or about30 min walk. Friendly owner easy to communicate with and helpful. Lives next door. "The house is very charming. There are constantly people stopping outside the house to take photos. You will find basically any amenities you might need though they’re not all top quality. The town is lively and has restaurants and shops. There are also grocery stores in the town. Things to know are that you do not have warm water supply for both showers to be used at the same time. "We had a very nice stay at Nicoles place - located perfectly close to a lot of the WW2 attractions. The very cosy appartment is highly recommendable for 3x2 persons - with each party having their own floor. All in all, a very good experience."
