"The lean to and surrounding property looked fantastic on the listing, but it was even better than we anticipated. This place had everything we needed to make our stay fun and enjoyable. We stayed for five days and it went by too fast. We hope to come back again."

"This is such a magical place. The cabin is located on a beautiful property with trails, gardens, and a happy hound, Ollie. The cabin was clean and comfortable and very well stocked with pantry items, kitchen appliances, and cookware. Andrew was such a welcoming and responsive host and even let us pick berries and tomatoes from his impressive garden. "We booked this amazing property for a 60th birthday & Girls trip to get away from the men & boys in our lives! It was perfect!!! There is so much room. We had plenty of room for all 6 of us. We could all comfortably sit in the living room, sit at the table & with only moving one chair around the fire pit on the porch. Any question or concern we had was promptly addressed by Shane. We throughly enjoyed our trip and had already started planning our return with some of the families next year!!!...

"Although the house was lovely and fit our needs well, the true gem of this property is the pond! There was a small penninsula on the water with chairs, table, and firepit. The spring fed pond was quite special for swimming and for simply hanging out by. We would definitely return here."

"We were lucky enough to stay in this cabin on Indian Lake and were impressed with all the extras the host provided. Whether it was a kitchen gadget, extra life jacket or cornhole game- we truly didn’t have to pack as much as we did. The host John, was proactive and was incredibly responsive. "The house is located at the beautiful river. River flowing sound helps to relax after a long day of nature exploration. It has a good location to visit Canada, Montreal or to get to the Adirondack Mountains. You can easily find places to fish or just enjoy the wilderness. House has all necessary things to enjoy the stay. A hot tub was one of the best things to do for kids. Thanks for hospitality and well organized house."

"My family vacationed here in the summer. We love this house and the overall location. Lots to do with all the VIC trails nearby, canoeing/kayaking, rail trail cycling. Bob and Sheila are great hosts and the house is well equipped. Particularly nice is the outdoor area where you can enjoy an evening fire and view the stars. We all came back happy and restored thanks to this warm home and the natural beauty of the area."

"Critter Cabin is everything we want in a vacation cabin. This cabin is authentic with every thing we need. Very cozy, clean, quiet. Wonderful views of Mt. View Lake. All the needed amenities for outdoor activities plus great wi-fi. Such peace and quiet. A perfect place for us and our two dogs. Thank you so much Doug for letting us stay here all these years. "
